We are getting a 2nd rounder the 42nd pick from 76ers in the deal too.

Pelicans won the draft. Holiday is the best player picked up tonight.

Did we not flip picks with them? I don't like it. That 2nd pick is gonna suck

lol what?

jrue holliday is fricking awesome and plays a position of need

He'd be like getting Curry IMO. He'll get ya into the playoffs and maybe win a series, but he is going to need major help to win anything significantly, and it's hard for us to atract that.

Noel is a riskier pick given his healthy, but two towers on the frontcourt can change a program overnight, they can win you a championship.

I guess hate is a strong word, but I don't love it. What's his contract like? Is the pick protected?

Correction: NO gets 42nd pick this year, not 11. The deal: Philly sends Jrue+42 to NO for Noel and 2014 first, which has Lottery protection.
AMZING TRADE!!!

THE PICK WE'RE GIVING UP IS LOTTERY PROTECTED!!!

So

Philly gets: Noel, hopefully protected first round pick for next year.

NOLA gets: Jrue, 2nd round pick, maybe 2014 first rounder?
