99% sure he is signed through next year. We need to put him on a regular contract to use him in the playoffs.

Guys, they aren't going to lose Jose. They can still give him to a contract next year if they needed to wait. I don't think they will wait, but the main benefit to giving him one now is making him eligible for the Playin and Playoffs.
