Yes—-that’s the purpose of the injury report and timeline they gave us

They said he'd miss at least 7-10 days then be re-evaluated. That's not a guarantee.

It’s been nearly 20 days—-are they lying? Where the new update?
Either way you answer, it’s bullshite

McNamara did say they were aiming for Zion to debut on the 24th, it’s the 22nd now. The timing is suspicious, at the very least.

Has it? The 7-10 day report came out on March 9th. It is March 22nd. 22-9 = 13
13 =/= 20

Come Thursday (which I keep saying) it will be 15 days. Hence the “NEARLY” 20 days.
And still no new update—-so anyway you spin it. It’s bullshite

To be fair, that's just as nearly to 10.

But more 20—since they said 7-10
I’ll post this again to show I’m not just pulling things out my arse
Conclusions:
Grade I and II hamstring strains may be aggressively treated with a protocol of brief immobilization followed by early initiation of running and isokinetic exercises—with an average expected return to sport of approximately 2 weeks and with a relatively low reinjury rate regardless of injury grade (I or II), injury characteristics (including first-time and recurrent injuries), or athlete characteristics."

BI was diagnosed with a mild hamstring injury—-now either they are lying or they ar being overly cautious.
It can only be those two options
Not sure why this is so hard to grasp

Ingram has been seen in various videos running around the practice facility and laughing and joking around, so I don't think they're lying and this was a worse injury. We've had several players coming back from injury and the test seems to be "if they feel pain in/after shoot around".
If 100% pain free is the standard, that's not normal and someone should ask the team why they seem to be so cautious.

I think we agree way more this than our back and forth would show.

I’ve said it many times. The bursts were a mistake. There was no objective evidence that the hard bursts were the right way to handle a simple meniscus surgery. It alienated Zion and his camp, it didn’t allow the team to build any chemistry in close games, and Zion still hurt his foot less than a year and a half later. Nelson has earned his reputation and he’s a career’s worth of success stories. It’s still okay to say he didn’t handle Zion the right way. I’m sure he wishes he would have done it differently now.

My uneducated guess:
Given that the team behind us in the standings is intentionally tanking, and the team in front of us has a significantly more difficult remaining schedule than do we, they may think that being the 9 seed is a near lock whether BI (or Zion) play or not. So therefore they take the approach of not playing them unless they’re 100% and making sure they’re available for the play in.

Let him play. frick it. When has our medical staff ever given good advice?
Posted on 3/22/22 at 7:15 pm to ThePistol
Yes—and it made even less sense that he could close games out. As if those minutes were different from the other in terms of impact on the body.
Posted on 3/22/22 at 7:15 pm to ThePistol
Williamson was huffing and puffing while playing his burst minutes at the time. He was out of shape, fat, and wasn't ready to play big minutes. To say that the medical staff was in the wrong is a stretch.

If this is even real I’d imagine it being one of those year long injury resurrection/rise from the ashes type videos you’ve seen from guys like DRose has had after his acl tear. Doubt it’s something that would be drama with the FO but who knows

Being fat was more of an issue than just a surgery
