You cannot convince me that he isn’t the worst player in the NBA. I thought Bronny had that title locked up, but Hawkins has overtaken him. He brings absolutely nothing to the table.

He and Missi were both wasted picks. Hawkins is completely unplayable. He should never see another minute on this team.

Y'all remember when I called out his weak mentality in summer league and said its who he is? I remember.

When you can't make a single shot and spend the rest of the game only focusing on yourself while continuing to miss another 6 shots you are probably going to end up a shitty player and teammate.

I've disliked him since that game and it may have been the worst showing of sportmanship and self control that I've ever seen from an NBA player.

He was good as a rookie. Willie turned him into a fricking joke

No. He's weak as frick. Mentally and physically. I actually think he's more mentally weak than physically and that's saying alot.

We sat behind the bench. He was in his own head before the game started. I think he thought his role was going to be bigger tonight. He made mistake after mistake then couldn’t shoot.

When JB took him out, he threw his towel, had a tantrum and went to the locker room. Trey had to run back there and get him.

He should probably try to not be absolute shitwater on the court and he’d probably get more minutes.

There’s not a whole lot of guys who are getting action behind him. You’re always left hoping with a pick outside the top 10. I’m still confident Missi will turn into a rotational piece.

Joe picked up next years option only because he didn’t have a chance to see him in person and evaluate him, same reason he kept Willie

I wouldnt lump them together. Missi is an athletic freak that hasn't put it all together consistently. IIRC he hasn't been playing ball that long, relatively.

Hawkins had all the opportunity in the world last year to develop into a real NBA player. He has no confidence cause he can’t make shots. I’d rather the minutes go to Peavy/McGowens. No salvaging Hawk or his value.

Shooters need confidence and minutes. Towards the end of the season, I wouldn’t mind given Hawk big minutes in a three to four game stretch. See if he’s an NBA player. We can evaluate him. This season is lost. We need to figure out who’s coming with us going forward and who’s getting dumped.

He's not.

We already have. He can't make shots and plays horrible defense.

And people argued with me when I said he was a bad pick. They should have always aimed for potential with that pick

Sorry, but the evaluation to me is clear. He is not a rotational NBA player on even a decent team. The few and far between games where he actually makes the occasional shot is not enough to tolerate the absolutely abysmal defense and ball handling he displays.

I’m not taking up for him but I think they use him wrong. Hawk is an excellent catch and shoot shooter. He should be planted in the corner for a drive and kick shot. Instead they trying to let him create his own shot. Secondly this team is awful at screens and coming off screens. I’ve never seen such a disgraceful effort when setting screens and running drags off screens.

The game I was referencing in SL included players that were fighting to make the team. This dude already had a roster spot, missed 10 shots, got in his head, and then proceeded to not pass or even look at a teammate while he missed another 5+ shots.

He is legit the most selfish and mentally weak basketball player I've ever seen.

I will laugh when he fails out of the NBA and inevitably gets jumped on a public court by a group of casuals who are going to outplay him anyway.
