He’s kind of become the go to guy for Pels stuff for local and even some national media. His pod is pretty good.
He’s already put himself in that position. Now with the coming explosion of media coverage and bandwagoners he’s in a good spot.
He deserves it too. Shout out to Jake. Keep up the good work.

Very much appreciate the kind words! It can be a damn grind at times doing this 5 days a week. Sometimes it sucks. Past 48 hours have been pretty fun. Love seeing the passion from everyone!

Maybe you don't want this, but I would love it if WWL would hire you, at least on a part time basis.
Having to hear Bobby talk about or conduct interviews on basketball is ear cancer.
They have their football guys. We need basketball guys.

What's so great about being a pels fan is being able to interact with guys like Jake and MM. There are real benefits to riding with a small market team.
I hope one day yall have a lot bigger things on your plate than fricking around with us.

Listened to the podcast today, appreciate and much-needed the point about not getting caught up in the national media.
I know there's a little self-interest there lol, but it's a smart point nonetheless. It matters, but we don't need to let ourselves get personally consumed in it. Also, a humble touch to encourage people to subscribe to all the Pelicans content in the podcast world.

We've actually thrown ideas around about this before. Maybe something will happen in the future.
Over the past few months I was working on a new project/podcast with another outlet. Was really excited and we were starting to finalize things. Then some things happened and, well, soon you won't be reading that outlet anymore.

Jake, the BSS, and the TBW guys all deserve a round of applause. The same goes for Will and Scott who do a fantastic job on the beat. What we lack for in quantity in the local Pels coverage we make up for in quality IMO
