With only 18 seconds left in game, Jahlil Okafor appeared to have sprained an ankle and fell to floor. He was taken to locker room, walking on his own power but a bit gingerly

Jahlil Okafor exits the Pelicans' locker room on crutches, walking very gingerly. He is now in a walking boot.

Adrian Wojnarowski - @wojespn: Okafor is getting an X-ray now on right ankle and MRI on Monday, league source says.

you stop to think that he saw Okafor in a walking boot AFTER taking that pic but BEFORE sending out the tweet?

Jahlil Okafor in walking boot
A boot means out for months
Sandals mean days or weeks
Not great news but far better than what it could be.

it looked like a minor sprain. He was walking on it when he came off the court. Probably swollen, but ill bet he's back in a week.

Que??
I saw no shot making, no aggression, no effort to dominate. he was minus 12 in 17 minutes playing against end of roster players. In his defense he was playing with our scrubs who should have been instructed to feed him the ball but instead tried to get theirs
he can’t defend so when he’s in there he has to punish smaller players

trust me, I did.
why not take a picture of him in said walking boot?
I mean it'd scare us all a little more.

him getting both a x-ray & MRI scares me enough thanks
hope they find nothing
even if it is 1 of the dreaded high ankle sprains... hopefully there's still enough time between now and the start of the season for him to fully recover and be back for Game 1

Maybe you should reevaluate what your expectations are for the 4th big on this roster.
