Is it a turn off to anyone else that Klutch represents Garland?

That's the only thing that gives me hesitation with him. The kid would work perfectly with Jrue in that they both can play on or off ball. And we'd have full roster control over him for the next 7-years so it's not like his agent actually matters until then, but after all of this BS that Rich Paul did this past year, I just don't feel like dealing with them.

Yeah I’ve thought about that. But if we really like Garland and wind up keeping the pick we shouldn’t let something like that stop us from taking him. It’s about making the team better at the end of the day.

No. Running your franchise based off who your players are represented by is foolish.

Klutch I think has around 26 clients in the NBA. It just so happens we had the one player in the league who desperately wanted to play for the Lakers.

Rest easy, broski. Griffin deals with them, not us fans.

No worries at all there. Klutch should actually love Griff; he, ultimately, executed the deal they wanted.

Griff most likely has a good relationship with LeBron.

Everything should be all good there.

Klutch didn’t invent trying to get his client to another team

For me it is. If it is for Griffin, we should obviously keep it on the dL.

Absolutely. Rich Paul has shown he’s a scumbag. He has completely changed the way owners will handle players managed by Paul. Players have demanded a trade but the way this went down is the worst I’ve ever seen. The pelicans really are lucky the lakers have a terrible front office because most teams wouldn’t have offered near what the lakers did if they were in that situation.

Garland is not going to be the pick if we keep it

I don’t understand how Garland’s stock actually went higher after only playing 5 games in college and getting injured.

It does and should worry everyone.

He can also pull some frickery by having Garland rush and sign on July 1st, thus doing an end around and giving the Lakers the cap space they would have gotten re July 31 and fricking us.

And I do not trust him in the slightest not to do it.

But couldn’t Paul have Garland do that if ANY team takes him at 4?

The Lakers will be picking at 4 no matter who the Pelicans trade the pick to, so technically he will be a Laker until July 6

So the idea is don’t pick Garland at 4 for yourself or anyone else.

I don’t think Paul would actually do it. But I certainly don’t trust the scumbag.

I member when Klutch made us trade CP3 to the Clippers, made Denver trade Melo to the NYK, made Minnesota trade KG to Boston and made the Steelers trade AB to the Raiders. Anyone else member?

I’m just saying that most teams we would want to trade with are interested in Garland at 4, at least as far as the reports go.

Are you concerned about Zion signing with CAA? Chris Paul is represented by CAA and he forced his way out of New Orleans.

This isn't possible.

Doesn't look like he's making AD decline $4mil to give the Lakers cap space.

We literally just traded Klutchs client to the team he wanted to be traded to. This should not be an issue.

As long as his dad isn't AD's dad I don't care about who represents him
