Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, Williamson (hip) is a true game-time call Friday versus the Suns, but there is a "real likelihood" he will not play until Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski indicated on ESPN.
Williamson will at least test things out in warmups ahead of Friday's contest, but it sounds more likely than not that he will sit out one more before returning Sunday. With Brandon Ingram (concussion) already ruled out and numerous questionable players across the roster, there are numerous potential starting lineups the Pelicans could send out depending on availability.
Sounds like worst case is that he misses tonight and returns for the next game. Not optimal, but I can live with that.

The context of Woj post doesn't really tell us anything we didn't know. We knew it was going to be a game time decision based on how he feels. And it still is the case.

All about pain management for Z, don’t want him trying to protect that area more than the rest of his body and end up inadvertently injuring himself rolling an ankle or something trying to avoid hurting the hip more.

Yeah, a hip bruise hurts like a MFer, I’m surprised he will only miss at most 2 games, last time I took a fall and bruised myself like that it hurt to walk for 2 weeks

So pampered after growing up watching the Celtics battle Detroit, or Chicago I cannot get how many pussys we have playing. Ok so u got knocked the frick out. How long before you can play, you hit the court hard let’s take a few days off and get ur arse back out there.
This is getting unbearable all the promise we had starting this year and now it’s like letting air out a ballon. Freaken suck it up and go to work like most of us in this world.

He is taking a couple days off, Zion hasn’t been off a week much less 2 weeks.
And the NBA has a concussion protocol teams have to follow, even if BI wanted to play the league would shut it down quick
