And you can only hope that you are getting a player that's as good as Jrue..

If they offer all that for Jrue, he’ll yea you take it. Jrue doesn’t really fit Zion and Hayes timeline. We can then trade some of those or the Lakers assets for the next big star that wants out years down the road. I wouldn’t think twice about pulling the trigger on that trade

Okay next question,

After this stellar performance by NAW in summer league, out of the blue you get a call from Cavs GM Coby Altman.. He wants to trade Garland to you for NAW straight up...

Do you do it?

... no. You’re questions are shite. If we wanted Garland, we would have taken him at 4. At this point it’s safe to say NAW is better than Garland. At least until Garland can actually start playing a live game of bball

I would presume something is wrong with him if you are wanting to unload a guy you coveted but hasn't even played.

Though I dont buy the logic that we know NAW is better because Darius hasn't played, that doesnt really make sense.

But at this point NAW + Hayes is going to have people like me eating crow, so the long answer is definitely no to the hypothetical, votes out player vs player until generally speaking, we do see him play.

The theory is probably that Cleveland drafted Garland with the plan to flip him except no one wanted to pay the price. Now they have an undersized backcourt.

Not like he can't still be traded

True, but getting fair value for him gets more complicated the further they get from the draft, especially if he underperforms when he finally gets back on the court.

No, Griff obviously didn't want Garland. If he did, he would've stayed at 4 and drafted him. He bet on NAW, and he's looked good so far.

You'd find someone adequate enough when you have an offer like that on the table.

Of course you take that deal, you don’t even have to think about it. I love Jrue but 5 firsts plus a young PG with promise and Gallinari is too much to pass up.

Lol mentioned at length already

Jrue ain’t worth half of what PG13 fetched
.

Be lucky to get ONE of the players, and 3 of those picks except they would be protected
