re: If we can't get at least 20 games with BI/Zion from here on - is this a lost year?

Youve also ignored the most important part. 2 fricking injuries does not make you “injury prone”

Again, you're assigning ZERO injuries to Zion in a year where he won't even play 50 games.

That's just silly and shows how far you have to go to try to make that point, which is not sticking.

I literally said aside from this hamstring which every player gets multiple times in their career, he’s only missed time for those 2 injuries in a previous post, or did you miss that?

Also, I wouldn't consider having covid an injury, and taking the fall he took earlier in the year would have most players missing time.

Why would we not count an injury plagued season, that doesn't make any sense.

3 out of 4 years he hasn't played much. THere's no reason to say, "well aside from that 1 year where he had all those injuries." And even IF you do that, he's still missed the bulk of 2 out of 3 seasons, so it's still not showing what you want it to.

The FACT is 3 out of 4 years he hasn't played many games. That's it, that's not good. That's not enough.

And yet you're doing the literal opposite assessing BI and saying he's injury prone.

Where did I dismiss the hamstring injury?

I literally said BESIDES this hamstring injury he’s had these other 2.

Bruised asses happen, every big man likely misses time after taking a 6ft fall like that.

Covid is not an injury.

Either your reading comprehension is horrible, or you’re just trying to make an argument.

Right there, there is where you dismissed it, for the 4th or 5th time. That's about as close to the definition of a "dismissal" as you can get, what are we doing here?

You're still ignoring 3 out of 4 years worth of injuries and STILL ignoring that you assigned BI injury prone then quite literally said Zion was not injury prone for having the same exact types of missed games as BI, but tell me more about who wants to "make an argument" while you're talking in circles and contradicting yourself for the sake of argument.

That is jot dismissing it…

Again, all 2 of them.

Klay Thompson missed 2 whole years for 2 injuries, would you label him injury prone?
quote:

that you assigned BI injury prone

BI has missed time for 3 different injuries THIS YEAR ALONE. Zion has missed time for 4 injures in his career, the MCL, the foot, the arse bruise, and now hamstring, 2 of those which every player gets. Hell Morant has had more injuries in his career than Zion.

Multiple injuries every year or same recurring injury, i don't call guys that have had 2 major injuries that caused a majority of their missed time injury prone. Like i said if thats your criteria then you call 90% of the NBA injury prone.

You can't say "besides this season" AND "I'm not dismissing injuries from this season"

Because 90% of the NBA averages 30 games played a season over the last 4 years...

Motherfrickers try to act like he’s constantly injured when in reality he has only really had 2 fricking injuries besides this strain that every player gets.

Come on man. I’ve probably been to 40 games in person since 2019. I think I’ve seen Zion play live twice.

The dude is, without question, always injured. The past doesn’t have to repeat here, but the guy has simply not been in the court enough.

I never dismissed this season's injuries, I just said "not counting this year's injuries"

Nah, you're just an idiot apparently if you think Zion is always injured.

Its unbelievable the coping this guy is doing. Reality is zion has been in street clothes the majority of his career. Call it whatever you want, he collects DNPs like they're going out of style

Had to go back and look, and boy, how wrong you were here. Loud wrong too.

Zion, even when you take out the Covid stint, has missed time for injuries 3 separate times this season, so your 4 total for his career is way off. You were factually incorrect about BI, he's missed time only twice this season.

BI missed games 4 through 7 due to the concussion. BI didn't miss another game until the toe injury. That's only 2 different injuries.

Zion missed games 4 & 5, Zion missed games 14 through 16, Zion miss games 31 through 33 and then games 38 through present day. That's 4, take out the Covid and that's 3...still more separate injuries than BI has missed just this season. The ankle, the butt bruise, the hamstring. BI has the concussion and the toe.

So again, how is Zion missing more time over his career AND more different injuries this season less injury prone than BI?

At least get your facts straight before calling someone an idiot. You've made a mess of yourself in this thread.

Yeah it got ugly for ol boy Soggy. Anyone with eyes can see this has been an injury plagued start to his career. The number doesnt even matter. The different injuries dont mean shite. You are missing a big amount of games EVERY YEAR. We dont give a shite if its from 1 injury....2 different injuries....3...who gives a shite. Dude isnt available a lot. And the Pels cant afford for this shite to be happening every year they need him bad. Just is what it is.

Next year HAS to be the make or break year. If we can't get our 3 guys playing for more than 20 games again, I have no clue what we can even do, but HUGE shake ups need to be had. Not there yet, not this offseason. But if we have anohther injury ruined season next year, it's complete panic time.

i agree, but i don't think you even wait until next year... at this point, you know what you've got... 2 injury prone guys, who let us down year after year... no sense in seeing the EXACT same thing for another year, only to come to the EXACT same conclusion that you'd come to right now...
