would we have a better chance against the Clippers or the Timberwolves?

I'd rather we play the Wolves. It just seems like the Clippers are a bad matchup for us. I do not think we are physical enough inside to match up with them. Am I missing something about the Wolves and Townes that makes you think otherwise?

I feel like our worst matchups are teams that can just shoot endless 3s. I'd rather face Minnesota than LAC.

A couple of weeks ago I would definitely have said we want to play the Clippers.

The Wolves just own us even when both teams aren't good. Meanwhile, we have done VERY well against the Clippers in the past few years.

However, with Play-In P back as well as Powell, Clippers are pretty tough.

I would rather play the Clips...

I think at full strength we match up very well with them.

The last game was a fluke---they will never shoot that hot again.

We do not match up well with Towns and Edwards.

Well-- Minny leads the league in 3pt attempts and makes per game. They also lead the league in PPG.

Clips can get hot but shooting the 3 isn't their game-- it is the Wolves' game

Both will be tough games on the road. It really depends on if the refs allow us to get physical on defense. If they start blowing whistles on soft touch fouls, it going to be hard to defend these jump shooting teams.

And, as much as I like Willie as a rookie coach, both Lue and Finch are elite tacticians, Lue especially, so not only is there the ref factor, but Willie is gonna have to grow up with some of these rotations pretty quick if he wants a chance to counter their chess moves if some of his default rotational pieces like Graham/Billy/Jax struggle or get outmatched.

Have some clear counters in place for the zone defense we have struggled against that no doubt both teams are gonna go hard at us with.

But Pop is no pushover either, he has shown time and again he can beat you with less talented rosters through superior preparation and tactics, and I expect Pop to have his team as ready as they've been all season.

We are going to have to play VERY well to beat either team.

Is it the Pelicans winning five of the last six by an average of double digits that makes you think that?

I agree. They cooled off some from 3 point range in the 2nd half and still finished at almost 58%.

Don't see us beating either one UNLESS something happens that we just run out a huge lead and then hang on ..

cough be nice if we could have someone go 4/5 from three, instead of 1/6... Looking at you Devonte

I just want their game to go to triple overtime.

Edit: and for the winning team's best player to roll an ankle in the final minute.

I did not know that. I based my post on watching the last game we played against them. Glad to know that we have done well against them over the last 6 games.

Refs letting the Clippers beat the shite out of the Wolves

Feels like easier path is beating Spurs and then give Edwards the Herb treatment and let D'Angelo Russell shoot them out the game
