If Kawhi goes to LA then Pels draft pick haul loses a lot of value

Imo we need to do everything in our power to prevent LAL from getting a max slot. If the LAL get the max slot and lure Kawhi then they will be good for the foreseeable future given Kawhi’s age.

Somewhat true but as we’ve seen these super teams have a shelf life of only 4 or 5 years so the back end of the deal could still be valuable.
Also they would have nothing left to fill out the roster so they are and injury or two away from the toilet.

Flip side: If he goes to LAC then our picks are even more valuable. Once LeBron is done, no one is going to want to team up with AD just to get sonned by Kawhi in the same city.

Most think it'll be the Clippers, primarily because he was born in LA, played college at San Dego St and just bought a $13M home in San Diego in January, seemingly to relocate there after a few months of duty in Canada.

This is my point. We want Kawhi to preferably stay in East but really anywhere except the LAL.

Did you think GSW looked like shite in game 6 after Klay got hurt? Imagine what LAL would look like if one or 2 of those big 3 got hurt. Hell as good as Kawhi played in the finals, in game 6 the Raptors won despite his performance not because of it.
