Love his breakdowns, talks about BI being a bitch and how the pelicans have no idea who they are. Hits the Nail on the head

Watching BI pass up a wide open 3 last night just to dribble into the lane and take a contested midrange was so funny.

I'll give BI this. The man is consistent. If you need a guy to take 14 contested midrange shots and crumble under pressure, BI is your man.

We lost our flow and momentum once BI came back from injury

Most of you think I"m the biggest BI lover, even though it's simply the fact that I dont' hate the guy as much as everyone else. His game can irritate me as well, but I still appreciate what he's capable of as a high level basketball player, and i really liked the effort we saw from him this year.

That being said, it really pisses me off how he acted last night, and then to hear he got dressed and left the arena as quick as he could?

Look i get it, you're upset, as any competitor shoudl be that he isn't in the game, but you can't act like that. If you want to be that way then you can get the hell out of here. I can forgive him for the heat of the moment and all that, but Willie should have a talk with him and he should apologize to the team for how he acted in that 4th quarter. I doubt we'd ever hear any word of that even if it happens, but if i'm the coach and GM, and it doesn't happen after talking to him, I'd let him know you'l be playing elsewhere next year.

Wow he said BI stormed out of locker room because he was pissed being benched by Willie.

So now hes going to lead us against the kings???! This team is a complete mess.

Yeah Willie made the right move benching BI last night. Can’t fault Green for that

The real question is what are the repercussions of this especially in regards to BIs reaction? The way he reacted makes me even more apprehensive in giving him a deal.

Yep, and that’s the issue with his fit with Zion. Here are some stats that just don’t make sense:

We averaged 32.6 3pa per game this year, which is 25th in the league.

We averaged 32.7 3pa in games Zion played, and 32.2 3pa in games he missed. Both would be 25th in the league and a negligible difference.

For BI however, we averaged 31.9 3pa (27th in the league) in games BI played, and 34.9 3pa (16th in the league) in games he missed.

I will point out that a few times they missed the same games, but this is inexplicable to me. I understand that Zion’s gravity has a lot to do with it, but in both cases we were replacing Zion or BI’s minutes with basically the same players, and Zion doesn’t shoot 3s. You would think then that the numbers would be flipped, or at least BI’s 3pa this year should be way up, but neither have happened. It just shows (again) how BI just refuses to change his game.

see this is why y'all think i love BI, simply b/c i'm going to point out what you just said just isn't accurate at all. I'm just not a fan when people say shite and it gets taken as gospel when it's clearly not accurate.

14 mid range shots a game, contested at that? really? Not the first time you've said this either if i remember correctly.
He only takes 16 shots a game.
9 of them are from 5' out to the 3P line, so i'm even counting shots where he's almost at the basket for you, and it's still just 9.

and i would say that 9 is still too many. 6 would be a good number for him, with 3-4 more 3's taken a game.

I’d be pissed too BI shows up in a lot of big games, however he’s coming off of injury but you have to put him back in especially once Zion goes down.

And as usual CJ was ice cold in a big game but yet Willie puts him in.

Yea i'm over him. His style of play is shite in today's game and he is not the next Durant like we hoped he would be.

What he showed us last night should be a major red flag to this organization. How he responds, win or loss, will be the storyline on Friday night. Because you look at a guy like Jonas. Some of the lowest minutes he’s played in years. Though I’m sure he’s pissed off that he’s not on the floor, he’s always a professional and supporting the other guys. If BI can’t handle being benched for poor play, then maybe this is Griff’s out.

I’ve been BI’s biggest supporter but pretty obvious he’s about himself and not the team.

The fact CJ changed his game and BI didnt was the biggest indicator. CJ is about the team and wants to win. BI only cares about winning if hes the star.

Which is shame. What he is now is a borderline All-Star (@ best), and the 3rd wheel for a contender
