Couldn't have said it better myself. A complete dumpster fire of an organization.

I just don’t understand how NAW couldn’t catch the ball hold it standing still till he gets fouled

our 90% FT shooter bricking 2 FTs at the end is more mind-boggling. i truly feel like even if NAW catches it cleanly, we find a way to lose the game somehow

Team is just mentally weak overall. No proven “winners” in the locker room at the moment

If tonight didn’t teach us that Ingram is expendable nothing will.

He's a 23 year old All Star averaging 23.7/3.4/5.1. That's not easily "expendable".

He also seems to prefer being in a small market, and has a passion for the game. He wants to get better.

Despite our team's issues, almost the entire young core (aside from Hayes) seems to legitimately want to be their best versions of themselves.

Everyone pushing for an Ingram trade will come back about ~20 games post trade asking why we never have legitimate wings on the team.

They're best player has been in the league for 9 years, and his teammates defer to him at the end of the game. Our best player hasn't played a full season yet. Our team isn't giving Zion that same respect, and he isn't demanding it yet. He just wants to fit in. I guess you don't remember those airballs that a young Kobe shot in the playoffs. I see the light at the end of tunnel. Errbody relax

Age 24 Damian Lillard Clutch stats:

31-91 34%fg
9-40 22% 3P

Can’t believe Portland didnt get rid of that bum. 24 years old, you are what you are amirite?

defines choke.

I feel superior.
lol.

this end my patience for naw.

will never be a man.

the game on the line is very helpful to a GM.

this nonsense is why GSW traded mitch Richmond, Olympian and very good.
he stepped back over the end line with the ball in his possession in 2nd round last minute losses.

they got 3rd pick in draft.
mistake with pick Syracuse guy who could not make fts or pull up jumpers (I never would have taken him) but a nice game other than that, but they dumped mitch and for good reason.

Why do we always get an influx of stupid fricking reactive posters after every loss?

it's typically b/c of a huge blown lead (which we are basically historic at this year) or a bad loss (like being blown out by an extremely injured, worst team in the NBA). people being upset b/c of terrible losses isn't shocking, and we have had a lot of terrible losses this year

well when he leads you to 51 wins with Wes Mathews as his 3rd best player, you usually hold on to guys like that.

This young shite has got to stop. BI is on a max contract. He's not young. Zion is young. I do'nt care that BI is 24 years old. He's in his 5th season in the league. He knows he screwed up. You don't have to be a veteran to knock down a free throw. and he's not the first all-star caliber player to miss free throws at the end of a game. Everyone has done it.

We didn't lose this game b/c BI missed those two free throws or b/c Stan drew up a fricking play to get NAW the ball. And by the way, that really pissed me off that he did that. I would have put the ball right back in to BI's hands so that he knows we all still have confidence in him to close this out for us.
We lost this game b/c instead of driving and penetrating and passing the ball all over looking for an open shot, we went into iso ball in the last 6 minutes. We've been seeing this for 3 years now. We'll play a game with 30+ assists, and not get a single one in the last 6-8 minutes of the game b/c we've completely abandoned what was working all game long.

And also, i know everyone is slobbing all over Lonzo, and he did play great last night....offensively, but Lillard dropped 50 on us, and if you noticed, in the 4th quarter, it was Hart or Bledsoe that were guarding him more. And i'm not saying Lonzo is a bad defender, but he is not capable of guarding the top tier guards in this league. We've watched Lillard, Lavine, Beal, Fox, Mitchell, Luka all have season highs against us, some of them have their top 2 highest scoring games against us. We've seen other role players have season/career highs against us. I will always be the first to say defense is a team thing, but when one guy is having the best game of the season against you, and it keeps happening, you can't sit here and tell me that Lonzo is a great defender, and there was literally people last night saying how great Lonzo was playing defensively last night.

At least half of Lillard's FTs were bullshite calls.

Terribly coached and poorly constructed.

Bad coaching, yeah but they aren't losing because they are poorly constructed. Could they be constructed better, sure but they continually beat the shite out of people for majority of games and just crumble at the end. That comes down to coaching. The refs kept the blazers in the game last night and the missed free throws hurt but for me the biggest reason we lost was on Stan. There was a big momentum shift late in the game and in true Stan fashion he completely screwed the rotations up late in the game. Also, late in the game, the team forgot what was working in the first 3 and a half quarters. When that happens, you call a timeout and you make sure they fricking understand what to do. If a player isn't on board then you take his arse out and replace him with a player that knows his role. The offense got stagnant and stopped moving. Putting Adams back in late was probably a mistake. They needed Jaxon's athleticism and energy late. AND Zion should be in for the last 6 minutes of every god damn game! Period

TBH Naw actually had a really good game. Was loving the confidence he had from the corners last night. If he can hit those consistently this team will be very good.

Who is us in this?

You’re a reactionary troll that has only shown up to melt all over this board after losses.

You’ll be gone until the next melt opportunity shows up.

Go cheer on the Nets or Lakers or something. That seems more your style of fandom.

This is such a load of shite. These are embarrassing, inexcusable losses. Young team or not. We are right to be pissed. This is the NBA where there’s enormous pressure on small market teams and we have to deal with the media pushing trade “________ to the Lakers” narratives at every opportunity. I don’t expect a ring but we need to win. I don’t want to waste Zion like we did with AD. I’m sorry I have a thin tolerance for mediocrity unlike yourself.

People said the same thing when some of us were calling AD soft years before his trade request. Just sunshine pumping, loser mentality. If these particular losses (11 so far?) don’t embarrass you as a fan base, fine. But don’t bash the people who are rightfully upset at the team, especially our 5TH YEAR MAX PLAYER MISSING TWO CLUTCH FREE-THROWS AND BEING AFRAID TO RUN TO THE BALL ON THE NEXT INBOUND. This team isnt young, they’re just mentally weak and haven’t experienced winning consistently so they have no idea what it takes. The youth shite really needs to stop. Most of these dudes are 3-4+ year vets. They’ll continue to develop, but saying that they’re young is disingenuous
