majority of Pel fans want Zion traded. He is a liability that has trade value and trust me when I say that some fans will not watch or pay for tickets because of him. His history with this team has contaminated the fan base. He tries, he wants to win, but he is one of the dumbest basketball players I have ever watched. How can you be a fan of a team with the basketball IQ of Zion and the other block head Poole. Please trade Zion, please trade Fears, and cut Poole.

I think it is because there is zero trade market for him. Zero. The pelicans are embarrassed to be building a starting a guy the rest of the league wouldn’t trade a couple of second round picks before.

And they don’t have the nerve to just cut his fat arse outright.

He is a tank commander. But we keep trading picks.

The solution if we can't/aren't going to trade him is to not let him play in the 4th Q or OT. Let's get some closing time data without the guy in the game. Win a few games without him shitting the bed in the 4th and maybe a light bulb will go off in his head. The fact of the matter is he still needs to lose more weight and improve his dribbling and decision making to be an average winning player in the NBA.

Right now, pound for pound and dollar for dollar he's arguably been the worst player in the NBA ever since his big money extension kicked in. If you want to win games, there are at least 350 current players better at contributing to NBA wins than Zion is. I'd rather see Karlo on the floor at the end of games. He's a better defender, shooter, and rebounder.

Murray
Trey
Bey
Karlo
Missi

Or if Missi is injured

Murray
Math
Trey
Bey
Karlo

Fears, Queen and Zion don't make sense in a closing lineup. None of them can shoot or defend. All are prone to turnovers.

Only coach that knew how to use Zion was SVG. Having 1 rebound including overtime is embarrassing and lack of effort.

I'm not sure it was SVG. I just think teams hadn't figured out how one-dimensional he is

Nah there’s several teams that could use him

Zion isn’t really our issue even though he is one dimensional and I do agree with OP that it’s time we move on
