Oladipo miles better than Gordon? Come on man.
I was actually agreeing with him until I got to that statement. You just have to remember that these people are reacting emotionally right now. Thankfully, I don't think Dell will make any rash moves. At least with Thornton, we got Landry in return.
Dell doesn't make moves for the sake of making moves. If it doesn't improve our position, he's going to sit out the market. He's almost plodding as a GM, which I think is a good thing. We may not see the instant gratification that we all want, but it will also keep him from setting us back 5 years like the Shinn of the Walrus
I'm hereby creating the term "Shinn of the Walrus" to describe a penchant for short-sighted, purely monetary decisions.

Attitude, size, athleticism, contract, reliable shooter... he is much better for this team than pouty 6'1 flat eg... eg was getting shut down by goran dragic last night. Goran fkn Dragic... what has he done with the hornets to prove he is better? Gallo or tank next season.

When I said Monty won't have alot of say after this season, is he's done a piss poor coaching job. The fact that he doesn't like Gordon will have alot less impact than it did when he didn't like Marcus. I think Gordon is a bitch and hasn't lived up to his contract either, but Monty is taking out alot of his frustrations for the rest of his sub par team, as well as his own mind numbingly stupid rotations and defensive strategies, on Gordon. Alot of the fans are doing the same thing
I really can't disagree with any of that. It should be interesting now that you've pitted the Anti-Monties against the Anti-Gordons.

Oladipo is not really a good shooter my man. And you say Gordon got shut down by dragic, how much better you think dipo would do? Plus he is not a really good dribbler.

Interesting to think that some of us were beating this drum months ago and we got bashed for it. Interesting.

Eric Gordon is shooting 40% this season

So you rather get someone who isn't as good of a shooter AND while in college? Hilarious. Or were you just posting a statistic?

Would you be against trading both Eric Gordon & Ryan Anderson for Kevin Love and a unprotected 1st in 2014

Who are "these people" that always get brought up?

I'm against most trades you throw out, but to answer your question... Yes.

EG has been a disappointment, but it would be shortsighted to deal him for scraps when his value is this low. I think the article is pretty much non-news. Sure, they are "open" to trading him, it will all depend on what kind of offers they get.
If they get a good offer in the offseason, jump on it. If they don't, hopefully the Pels get a SF or PG in the draft and put together a decent team next season. As the season plays out if the Pels are in the playoff hunt then awesome, the tam is in the playoff hunt! If not, then hopefully at least EG has stayed healthy and played well and they can trade him to a team that is in the hunt.

I'd be willing to bet AD is the only player our FO isn't going to at least entertain offers for. That doesn't mean that they are actively pursuing trades for the entire roster, but it don't hurt to listen.

People can still say what they want about this guy, but I'm still standing by him. He was showing signs of improvement before the injury and was figuring out how to play in the NBA. I am really disappointed that we didn't get to see if he could keep that up at the end of the season
If he can work on his finishing at the rim and free throw shooting in the off season, I still think that he can become a solid combo guard off the bench down the road

Don't let Macintosh get to you, he's become an awful troll on every board. Not sure how he isn't banned yet
Posted on 4/8/13 at 4:48 pm to Cap Crunch
You know people don't get banned swiftly around here. Its like a trial and error type of process. Everyone has to hate you in order for you to be banned.
