Warrick is only on the books for this year. 2013-2014 is a team option.

@WojYahooNBA
For Wolves, deal clears cap space and apparently is a prelude to another potential signing or deal, sources say.

If that's the case, that would make this trade that much better, but where are you getting that from?

Where are you seeing that? Hoopshype is showing it as a normal salary year. LINK

So is this the big move all the sunshine pumpers on this board assured me was coming after we dealt Jack? A mediocre back up center and a scrub?

Nvm, it appears it was just for cap space.

Wonder how much they gave Lopez?

Warrick is only on books for 2012 (4M)
team option 2013 (4M)

That's a big difference, then. Still not a huge fan of Lopez and hope he isn't more that $5m/yr.

Nice move.

Don't like the trade. We didn't give up anything really, but we now have to eat warrick for 2 years (don't see anything about a team option) and probably ended up overpaying for Lopez.

Would have preferred us to stay pat and not add long term salary.

Serious question: will you ever do anything except bitch about trading Jarrett fricking Jack? He was a very likeable player and had a good season but we didn't trade an All Star for fricks sake.

If Warrick is only this year that makes a huge difference imo.

RealGM only has him for one year too. So I'm not as down on taking a chance on Sideshow frickface if we're only stuck with Warrick 1 year. Hopefully, we paid that goofy looking freak no more than $4 million :Pukesinmouth:

Can you tell I'm not a fan of the non-rebounding Lopez sisters?

Forgive me for not seeing Vasquez as the borderline all-star this board views him to be.

And if Rivers will ever be an NBA caliber 1, which I am very skeptical about, it sure as hell isn't going to be for a year or two, at least.
