tonight the Hornets starters shot the ball well over 50% and the bench shot the ball slightly under 30%. the Hornets starters averaged around 26-27 minutes played despite this being a very close game. Anthony Davis only played 22 minutes and still scored 18 points and shot the ball over 50%.

The team has also stated on numerous occasions that Davis and Gordon would see limited minutes because of their injuries.

ok then Morris Bart ... then why did Vasquez and Lopez only play 33 minutes in this close game? they both should have seen over 40.

He was passable on D

He did a good job on Kobe, and played well in the 4th. I have no problem saying he has been garbage this year, but he earned his time on the court tonight.

We lost because Ryno couldn't hit shite in the 1st half, and Aminu was garbage today.

Ryno has to fire off deep contested 3's or try and drive the paint against like 3 guys when he plays with shitty arse rivers and roberts. It's not a coincidence he started making shots as soon as he was playing with Vasquez and Rivers. And i know people like Monty's hardassness, and ill admit it's effective at times, but he has a tendency to have a very short leash with players he doesn't like and Aminu is one of those players. He should've been given more time

For the 8 millionth time, 4 games in 5 days. It's a simple concept, Forrest.

never post on here but caught the end of the game tonight and completely agree with this. I mean the guy was doing very well late in the fourth on Kobe and also did much better on the offensive end as well. Rivers (among other things) has lost a lot of confidence and this board is moaning about not pulling him late in the game when hes finally showing signs of playing well? Gotta give the kid minutes when hes earning them. Gonna pay off in the future.

But this game was winnable. Won't do us much good if we adopt that strategy for every game and lose them all

with that ignorant logic nothing else really needs to be said if you truly think that way. as if no other NBA team ever has to deal with multiple games in a short period of time.

this was a western conference match up against the Lakers, not the T-Wolves. this is the game you show up for. the sad thing is you could tell the players were busting their arse and wanting to play, but Monty held the starters back.

So, we just say frick rest and frick health any time we arbitrarily determine a game is "winnable"? That's not good coaching. We lost, clearly not a perfect game, but the refs alone were about a 10 point swing.

An extra 3 minutes for each starter wouldn't have killed them. It's not like we were losing by 20 or we're clearly being outplayed
