Thanks for the reply. There's about 4 people around here that I think I agree with 90% of the time and you're one of them, whether you consider that a good thing, or a bad thing. I enjoy the conversations and I've only been around here a short time...and I think I'm definitely a bit "harsher" than you or most all the rest, when it comes to having opinions on the Pels' players.
I obviously have a high opinion on Herb (& Nance)...but to be honest...if Herb doesn't improve in the not too distant future in certain aspects of his game...I wouldn't have a bit of a problem in moving him to another team if I thought it would improve the team's chances of winning and didn't blow up any chemistry the team might have. Sounds cold...but just how I look at things.

BI just became the 8th player in NBA history to have a 30 point triple double with 0 turnovers.
HONESTLY only a team that is completely rebuilding and tanking would trade him for murder helper Brandon Miller.

Who knows, you might be right. Bama lives by the 3 & dies by the 3. Pretty much died today and Miller has played VERY poorly in last few games. Whole team played poorly today...it happens.

I’d be ecstatic for either

If it was the second pick i would select Miller
if I get the #1 I call #2 and get Brandon with #2 and a trading partner #1 in 2025 by which time wembanyama is either Mvp of the nba or in rehab for his 2nd knee injury. I don't care. I've got the next best thing for years. its morant or zion.
Brandon is the morant of 23 draft. nice ceiling. nice floor. wemby is highest ceiling and I'm gun shy now so no thanks.

Pretty sure Miller was injured, but yeah, it wasn’t a good performance.
I’d still be down to pick him. But I wouldn’t trade BI for the right to do so.

I saw this thread but hadn’t clicked on it until tonight. A guy who has never played a minute in the NBA and just played one year in a very down SEC is better than BI. You have rocketed into the lead for the stupidest post of the year. Incomprehensibly asinine.

Before giving me the award...if you notice in my post, I said "will be"...I explained that earlier to mean "not from day one". Probably shouda said "EVENTUALLY will be" in the original post to be more clear. Anyway, it's just an opinion, although a bit different from when I said I actually thought Wemby might be better than BI...FROM DAY ONE.

He'd fit right in with the Murder Birds

Then he'll for sure be a Pelican! It's destiny.
