If not, who the frick is? No effort until the game has already slipped away. Trash plays after timeouts. Zero half court offense. Less than zero defensive iq and effort. Horrible rotations. I mean, frick.

Mike Miller actually did some good work with the Knicks to be honest. Gentry has never overachieved

Maybe, but you have to many cheifs and not enough soldiers on this team. Lonzo needs to realize he isn’t Larry Bird and Ingram is not the same player when Zion is in. He is a passenger.

Solution: rid yourself of Ingram, consider trading Lonzo if he isn’t willing to be a team player, pick up a big man who can play defender, structure the offence around Zion, pick up some heart and soul team players. Get a new coach.

There were 9 new players on the roster this season. Between the injuries and the covid, there has been zero continuity

Just not sure what you expect

You think Gentry has done a good job?

That's the type of shite that people say to make it seem like they're a smarter fan than everybody else. It's the go to move for all the Pelicans bloggers as well. "ACKSHUALLY, I think the Pelicans performed ok based on their injuries and youth..." until ________ (max player) decides he wants to leave.

He has 0 chemistry with Zion. They are both ISO players. If he wants a Max deal it will be bad for the team long term. He deserves to be the IT guy on his own team and so does Zion.

The players played like arse

Just be able to differentiate between that and bad coaching, and assign blame correctly

I don’t think he’s a good coach

What do you attribute success to when this team has went on nice runs? I know, it’s not bc of Gentry. So he’s only responsible for their shitty, inconsistent, play.

Gentry isn’t the answer, but neither is the majority of this roster.

This year?

Cleveland
Chicago
&
Minnesota

In the bubble?
Likely.

Ingram is unequivocally the most complete offensive player we have. He should get the most shots. Zion second. Reddick and Jrue after that.

The real question is what good is Ball if he doesn’t have the rock in transition?

I’m a believer in Lonzo, but the bubble has caused the Lonzo hate to rise again & fairly, I might add.
