dunno man...

Bailey is 6'10" and can play G/F...
Harper is 6'6" and plays G only...

Bailey averages 18.6ppg, 46.6% FG, 36.6% 3PT, 7.4 REB, 1.2 AST
Harper averages 18.5ppg, 44.7% FG, 32.1 % 3PT, 4.7 REB, 4.0 AST

if we don't get Flagg, i'd have a hard time passing up Bailey for Harper

yeah, he can... he does... doesn't play much at G now, but in spot duty, to give a little flexibility in certain situations, he absolutely could..

a line up with Murray at point, him and Trey at 2 and 3, whichever playing whichever spot, to go with Zion at the 4 and Missi at 5.... that's a lot of length and athletic ability at the wings... good luck defending it

dunno, but Rutger's website has him listed at 6'10", 210 lbs... he's got a good frame, even if he's not 6'10", if he's 6'9" or 6'8", he's still physically able to get in there day 1 and hold his own on the court...

So basically the same thing we had with Ingram?

I'm not trying to be a downer, but 6'10 guys shouldn't play guard. Lift a weight or two and they could just play SF or better yet, PF. Guys his size, especially professional athletes should fill out and gain weight. He'll be a big arse wing. But he's not, and shouldn't, play SG..

have you SEEN Bailey? the dude ain't exactly a twig

no one, including me is advocating that that should be his primary position... but he gives you greater flexibility, in certain situations, more so than Harper...

what's hard to understand about that?

The 6'10 200lb guard averaging 7.5 rebounds can't play SF?

Maybe less effective at PG and PF but SG/ SF are still forward and guard positions believe it or not.

And he's 18 y/o at 6'10. Dude could be 7' and 230 by the time he's 20 which would be comparable to Ben Simmons who is a PG/ PF.

Rutgers beat Washington yesterday with Harper scoring 34 point and Bailey scoring 18

He is probably closer to 6'7" than 6'10" from what I see on the court, but that doesn't mean he can't play some PF. Frankly, your lineup is effectively a combo guard, 3 small forwards, and a defensive center. It's a weird lineup. What you gain in length, you lose in lateral quickness. Length is great at the rim and in passing lanes, but you're going to suffer defensively against penetration and movement.

I don't get the fascination with height and length. The Thunder and Cavs are killing other teams and they are not long. The league is going away from that..

Harper is awesome but I hate Bailey’s game. Harper has been dealing with a high ankle sprain.

The big 10 is a great basketball conference, tho.

A lot of their losses are close, by 1 or 2 possessions. Put on the tape vs Bama & Harper was the best player on the floor

Starting to wonder about some of yall. The thunder arent long? See Chet SGA and Jwill.

Here is a video of Ace and Giannis. Giannis is about 7'. Ace looks slightly smaller. Also Giannis grew after being drafted. Positing Ace might as well is unlikely but not unheralded.

then that settles it then, as clearly your eyeballs and vision are superior and elite... i'll notify Rutgers that you settled it for them and they can change his height now

They just got back Holmgrem and Hartenstein. Without them, they were very small and still rolled. They have started 6'6 Williams at PF and 6'4 Dort at SF (he's jacked through). SGA is technically the SG, cause they start Wallace a ton. Their top 2 subs are Wiggins and Joe, who both are about 6'6. It's just not a huge team.

Yeah bc of positional size and length. Honestly Ive never heard anyone say height and length are overrated in basketball. Of course you have to shoot but especially if you dont have positional height and length.
