Need to fire him first. he should not be allowed to make any future decisions regarding this organization. He is a snake oil salesman who should be fired today

Yeah, he’s such an a-hole, out there injuring players and telling Willie to not have an offensive gameplan whatsoever

He hired Willie and kept Gentry as coach he is a joke and of course Willie should be fired by the next team President

Griff "on paper" has put a good team together. We can nitpick some of the moves and more recently, not getting off of B.I., but he is not the main problem in this equation.
It's Willie.... He has maxed out his potential with this team and I would say the same if they were healthy. It's time for him to go. Tired of seeing an offense with no identity, scheme nor any play calls that you can definitively identify as such.

Griffs also refused to surround Zion with shooters. Kept Lonzo too long, traded back when they could have drafted Garland. Should have traded BI a couple years ago. He hasn’t been horrible but he hasn’t been good enough

I think Griff has created a soft, zero accountability culture that makes players far too comfortable to quit and lose when times get a little bit tough.
And he’s fumbled assets and missed timing on multiple trades.
He’s got to go as well. We should get rid of the Bryson Graham dude too. He is a yes man that also has an extremely soft presence.
We need some hardasses at the helm. We’ve tried to create the Basketball version of the Brady Bunch and it isn’t an environment conducive to meaningful winning basketball. We have 6 years of data now that shows this.

Ryan (cut because Willie doesn’t play him)
CJ
Hawk
Trey
Jose
JRE
Ingram
They all are either shooters or shoot the 3 ball at around 40%. This notion that he doesn’t get shooters is false, Willie just refuses to play multiple shooters with Zion when he’s on the floor.

Look, is Griff perfect?
Not at all. No GM is. He hits around 60-70% success rates on trades, draft picks and signings. That’s a good GM, nobody bats .1000.
It’s easy to sit there and say that it’s Griffs fault, but we have a team that on paper should be better than this even with the injuries. That shortfall is strictly on the coach.

For what? He doesn’t play. Its a Bull Shite argument any way. CJ, TM3, Hawk, BI, Reeves, Boston, and Jose are all good to above average shooters.

He’s made plenty of questionable decisions. Has burned through our war chest. And we gonna let him choose his 4th coach?
There are several teams that started off with way less assets and are ahead of us. I’ve pointed out numerous times, he could realistically have the best of the Cavs team if he made better decisions.

They are all inconsistent. That's the problem. Can they consistently hit wide open 3s?

Nope, just smart enough to know y’all are blaming the wrong guy for the failures.

Every single shooter is.
You think Steph is out there hitting 40% of his 3’s every single game?
They have games at 40%, some at 20%, some at 60% etc and it averages out over the year.

Griffin is the 2nd highest paid GM in the NBA. He'll take all the credit if we succeed. So he should share the blame when we fail. It all starts with him. He hitched his future to the wrong people, Zion and Ingram. He just couldn't figure out how to get them to work, play and be healthy. He needs to go first..

He really didn’t have a choice. Everyone takes Zion in that draft, and anybody that says otherwise is lying. BI his first two seasons here was exactly the type of player you want with Zion, so don’t blame him for not trading him then.

He’s not a doctor nor a trainer. He’s revamped the training staff twice. Worked last season as we stayed relatively healthy, this season no telling what is going on. Everyone can have their own speculation, but leaguewide there’s alot of star players missing alot of games.

Honestly, his worst move was the CJ acquisition and subsequent extension. Since the Zion draft, the biggest move griff made made was adding a 30 year old SG and defensive black hole to a team with no PG.
It was a bad move. It was an abysmal move when it’s a centerpiece of the rebuild.
Hopefully the Murray acquisition ages better.

You know what’s crazy… Willie Green has the second highest winning percentage with the Pelicans than any other head coach in Pelicans history. The only coach with a higher percentage is Paul Silas, who coached one season in 2002-2003.
