Certainly better than a sharp stick in the eye. And not too expensive. But I think things are going to look a lot differently in a few days and perhaps much better for the Hornets than we think. Just a gut feeling about Demps and behind the scenes maneuvering.

Nope. But I've been impressed with Demps (I thought the Ariza/Oak move was brilliant). And this deal with Gordon seems so sudden. Almost out of the blue. Phoenix hadn't even been mentioned to any degree. I don't know. I definitely believe that Demps has contingency plans, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there have been some backroom discussions going on for some time that involve Gordon in some way.

If Gordon really is going to be a bitch and refuse to play for us, then I have full faith that Demps can get the best deal for this franchise, even if it means taking an offer from Phoenix.
