it's not like he's going to sign an offer sheet and not talk up that city. it may just be PR

Ok but don't you think he could've said something other than, "My heart is in Phoenix" if that's the case? Think about it. Why would he release a statement flattering the fanbase of a team that he probably wont play for while at the same time insulting the fanbase and team he will likely play for? His statement could've been better worded if he was okay with playing in either NOLA or Phoenix.

And this isn't NBA2K12... What do you plan on sending the Grizzles?

frick THAT! We are just going to LT over to the Grizz, scroll down to R. Gay, hit A, choose "Assign", and select Hornets. Then all we gotta do is retool the rotation, and he's ours.

we can always match and then decide what to do with him over the next 4 years

That's what I'm saying. No reason to panic and try to S&T and get shite from Phoenix since they have the leverage in that situation. We have 4 years to explore options if he really wants out. And who knows, a man's mind can change a lot over 4 years.

Honestly, what would convince you that he wants to play for Phoenix? Because saying Phoenix is where he wants to be clearly didn't do it.

well i think he does want out

I think he wants a max contract more than anything else and he knows Dell won't give him one unless he has to match. Where he gets the offer is irrelevant.

Gortat is good. If he can learn to attack the rim and slam it home, he would be really good.

I'll wait for Monty, Dell, and Benson to talk to him and hear them tell me whether or not he is opposed to playing here.

Why flip the picks when Phoenix is going to suck so much arse that we'll be picking top 8 all three years.
