Well....he aint' starting over Zion, or Trey, or even Herb, so good look with that bub.

I would'nt take him at 7 if he's there. Way too much drama with this kid, and he was no where near good enough in college to be acting this way before the draft, and his measurement at the combine, which is about the only thing we have to go on for him along with his teams pathetic showing in college, did not help him at all.
I think people have been operating under the belief that Bailey is 6'10" and that's why he's been so highly rated, but he's not that tall, and he's skinny as frick.

He's 6'7.5" and weighs 200lbs with a 7' wingspan.
Cedric Coward is 6'5" with a 7'2 wingspan, and weighs 213, and actually has a solid proven record of shooting great from 3 unlike Bailey.
I'd rather trade down and take Coward over Bailey.
I'd rather trade down and take Carter Bryant than Ace Bailey. Same measurements as Bailey and 15 lbs heavier.
Both Coward and Bryant are more athletic than Bailey, are both a lot stronger, and both shot better than Bailey from 3 in college.

I'd rather Queen's upside than whatever it is people think is Bailey's upside.

I think our 1a and 1b is now clearly Bailey/Maluach

It’s funny people think he would even get meaningful minutes. Willie don’t give a frick about rookies. Dyson barely played here as the 8th pick.

Are you advocating we trade assets to move up for Bailey after all the shite that has come out on him? No. Just no.

You mean the false reporting of him working out by the cuck ESPN reporter?

Might not even make it to 5. Charlotte seems to be locked in on him.

So basically what everyone said… he just wants to put up stats and doesn’t care about winning. Would fill the void left by Ingram.

That's his combine measurements without shoes. He's probably 6'9 in shoes. Not really a big deal. He can still grow.

Kon and Bailey will be gone at #4 and #5.

The draft starts at #6 with a Big Board of:

Tre Johnson
Jeremiah Fears
Malachi Maluach

At this point I honestly don't care which of the 3 we choose as long as the pick ends up working out. Its 3 different positions so you can't really compare them.

That still leaves a good 40 games for him to start.

That is, in fact, how height is measured. You really still giving extra points to those dorks who wear lifts?

So does everyone else. Is your wife suddenly 5'9" when she puts on heels? No, because it's a stupid argument. What if he signs a new shoe deal? Does his height change?

Remember when the NBA measured a bunch of guys during the covid year and listed Ingram at 6'7? Yea I do, but no one is going around claiming BI is 6'7. Use your head.

bullshite... they are "preferred" b/c they are "likely"

I wanted this guy early on, but as the process has gone on, while he may be a great player one day, he just seems like a fricking problem, and we already got enough problems
