Again, no team can withstand losing 4 starters and a significant role player. None. Zero. The scrubs will look like they're getting outworked and outplayed because they are playing against far smarter and more talented players.

i think he was commenting more on using the injury excuse as cover, even when healthy, we look basically the same, as far as the turnovers, offensive gameplan, lack of effort, etc... at least, that's how i read it

eta: like, for the "wait til we healthy" crowd, we are still going to see unforced turnovers, piss poor coaching, sluggish offensive output, etc.... it will look better, b/c there will be more talented players out there, but overall, we will still be held back b/c of poor coaching, fundamentals, and terrible basketball IQ, like we always are

this part is pretty painfully obvious.... not sure why the people that need to see don't, but yeah, basically this...

The injury excuse is lame

You have to be kidding. We have 6 rotation players out. What was ridiculous, was the fact we were in the Lakers game at all. However, I will not disagree with the fact that we are as incompetent at the end of games with all our players as we are with Bi and the Squadron. Which of course is on Green.

Yeah putting this game aside we should have 2 more wins if Willie coached better down the stretch. Hes had some big mistakes in several areas when the games were actually close. The lack of talent has exposed his coaching even more. BI himself literally stated at media day- they were just winning on talent alone. That quote is pretty telling. Whatever this season brings- I really hope we make s coaching change. Healthy or not- Willie is not the guy.

When a guy thanks 'God for having the opportunity to coach these guys', its very telling. He's admitting he shouldn't be there and out of his depth.

For me, its not about wins and losses. Its how we are playing and losing. This isn't about being out-talented, which we are. There are things you can do regardless of who is playing.

The back to back we played against GSW, without Curry, they shot 46 and 38 threes. Their last game, against Memphis I believe, with Curry they shot 46 threes. They have an identity, a culture, an expectation for how they play. It doesn't matter who they are running out there.

Some of it is roster construction; a lot of it is coaching. Things like rebounding, energy, not turning it over, you don't need to be the Showtime Lakers to do those things.

I know we are missing a ton of talent but saying you can't get mad at some of things we are seeing on the court "cause injuries" is lame to me. I get your point. I agree with it, to an extent.

If you can name our offensive strategy or recognize a foundational feature of it, we can keep WG.

Lol it's hard to have a strategy when you have 8 dudes that don't even know how to play with each other out there.

Iso ball with a contested shot late in the shot clock. Staple of Willie’s offense

I gotta commend y'all though.... for being able to withstand watching this glorified AAU team we are putting on the floor every night...

i couldn't do it.... at this point, i've accepted this season is already over, i'm just hoping for full scale changes to be made in the FO and at the HC position, as well as some meaningful personnel changes at the deadline and in the offseason....

It’s basketball terrorism. I think watching us continue to do this game after game is the most frustrating thing.

They've had 6 rotation players out?

They've had to start and play 8 dudes that had no camp to learn how to gell with each other?
