To me, this comes down to how you feel about Duncan vs Kobe and Durant vs Curry, and eventually Kobe v Curry. Everyone else clears those 4.

For me, Duncan v Kobe goes to Duncan. TD, imo, is the better player offensive and defensive player collectively and their winning and championship resumes are comparable. Durant v Curry, imo, isn't close. It's Curry easily. KD would need to go on a serious run with Houston to clear. Any ring as a 2nd/3rd best player years later won't cut it. He has to win while being "the guy" to pass Curry.

That leaves KD out and Kobe v Curry, which is difficult. That 2022 ring from Curry made it closer than Kobe fans care to admit. If he retired today, gun to my head, I'm Kobe but that could involve some era bias from me. If Curry gets another, that's a wrap.

Durant, Curry worst 2, for now.

The problem with Hawkins is that the other parts of his game are so bad that he has to be red hot offensively to break even, much less approach being a net positive. And that's just unrealistic from a shooting standpoint on the volume he will get. Griff needs to be flipping him as an asset soon.
