We got ourselves an early tip today Sons! The Pels look to keep the momentum going, and try to smash all the Kings hopes and dreams.

Let’s hope Zion, BI, and Zo can get the job done today, and keep us in the fight!

Pels: 111
Kings: 103

Just a reminder of our only meeting with them this year.
Both a stupid stupid stupid ending, and great ending all in one.

Portland loss would help, but it's possible that if the Grizzles fall out of 8 and 9, Portland-Pels play-in could happen.

I’m banking on Memphis’ “hard final 2 games” to be rest games

Wouldn’t be surprised if the Celtics or Bucks sit starters

I'm interested to see what the strategy is on that. I mean it's not like they are coming off a long season and want to give these guys a night off before the playoffs start.

The players just had 4 months off. Wouldn't they want them to continue to build rhythm before the playoffs? I understand them cutting back minutes, but I think the only reason they completely sit guys is that they're worried about the optics of someone getting hurt in a "meaningless" game.

From The Advocate in BR this morning...
quote:

The Pelicans had 23 fast-break points Monday. In their previous two games, they had a combined 11. Their turnover issues, coupled Williamson’s short stints on the floor, have made them look out of sorts on the offensive end. Through three games of the NBA’s restart, they are averaging 102.3 points per 100 possessions, the second-lowest mark of any team inside the bubble.

quote:

"I think the one thing we have to do is that we have to get more initial ball movement,” Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said. “I think sometimes we're trying to attack too early, and I think the thing that our offense has been really good at — and especially after Christmas — was our ball movement and our assists. When our assists are up, and usually when we get 30 assists, we win the majority of those games. I think we've just got to get the ball moving initially and not try to attack right away unless we have numbers. I think when we do that, then we create better shots for ourselves.”

Anyone know where I can listen to it on the radio? Games during work hours are rough.
