Just saw the replay, the defender was set then stretched his foot out an extra half step as Frank was mid stride and he just landed on the tip and it’s rolled on him. I just saw slomo, but it looked a bit dirty.

We have whole summer. Training camp.

Not ideal but might have been worse.

Happy it’s just a sprain, but wanted him to dominate SL to build confidence and knock some rust off going into camp.

To me its not even about that, it's about management having confidence he could be in the rotation. Looking at it objectively, how could you even pencil the guy into the rotation? He might be made of glass. Now, you have to go into the season basically looking at anything he gives you as gravy. You can't count on him to be in the rotation, and pass on a vet because you need to save those minutes for Jackson.

Go get a vet and if Jackson beats him out AND stays healthy, cool. You only wasted a roster spot and a less than two million. But it would have been nice if he would have shown he can actually stay on the court for 5-6 games. Then, maybe you could have focused on other areas of need

Don't most NBA players, if not all, volunteer and do charity work?

So releived that his ankle will be alright. We need that kid to be a 3 and D player next year, and hopefully handle the rock a little also.

I never got why he was picked.
He's only 6 3".
He is not a ball handler.

He averaged few assists in college. Few rebounds.
10 pts.
He won a dunk contest.

Bust. Sorry. Unless everyone else is tossed from the game he won't see the floor.

1. FJ
2. DB

Frank Jackson is 6'3".
Devon Booker is 6'6".

One of them can shoot over NBA SG's and or PG's.

Jackson was a 2nd rd pick for a reason.

The point was you cannot just read off college stats and assume you can predict what a guy will do in the NBA. Figured it goes without saying.

How big do you think NBA combo guards are?

Brah you can’t shoot over PGs if you are 6-3, ask CJ McCollum.

James Harden averaged 19 points and 4 assists a game in college, that’s not exactly future NBA MVP numbers. Not saying that Jackson will be an all-star but to call him a bust already is ludicrous.

Fast as he is, to say he's going to have trouble with bigger defenders is a plain stupid troll attempt.

I'd rather see aping on the MM position of what if he's fragile and never healthy?

I mean...we have AD who seems like he steps on someone's ankle every other game already. But whatever.
