If we dont get a SG for our 6th pick than I'd like to get Caldwell-Pope . He has the height to play SF as well.

The contract with Zaragoza runs through the 2013-14 to 2016–17 seasons,[6] and includes an affordable NBA buyout clause.

The 2 years is speculation from me based on what I've read. That it would be better if he spent time in Europe developing.

Giannis is really intriguing to me. If we already have the #6 pick I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him

Fletch reporting... their goes all of my hope in that scenario coming to fruition.

As much as we all loathe Fletch he did call Kenny Vaccaro like a month before the draft.

Also I don't love this idea.

• In the previous CBA, NBA teams could spend up to $500,000 to buy players out of contracts with overseas teams, with the buyout amount not counted toward the salary cap. The buyout amount in the proposed new deal will increase by $25,000 each season.

Doesn't answer your question, but the franchise really can't help him out a whole lot.

the man the myth the driveman!

seriously though I would love to acquire the 13th pick but I'm not about Giannis either...he is basically playing against JV teams over in Greece...I think at the end of the day people will group Mike Olowokandi, Yi Jianlian, and Giannis Antetokounmpo (I searched how to spell this guys name) all together

Would rather Shabazz, Stephen Adams, Dennis Schroeder, or even Shane Larkin

but hey I'm not a general manager for a sports franchise am I right?

What? It's pretty self-explanatory. He'll play in Europe until we want him to play in the NBA. Rubio, Valanciunas, and many others did it.

He may or may not do shite in the NBA. All I know is the Euro scouts are cumming their pants over him and have been for a year now. He's really young though and just recently played his first games out of Greece.

I wouldn't spend 13 on him but he's a player I'd love to stash. Previously it was thought he'd go at 20-25 and get stashed, but everyone thinks he's going in the teens now.

For the record, if we are getting 13, I want an immediate producer.

The justification is that he's 18 years old and has a lot of developing to do, with both his game and his body. He stays over there working on that where he can get significant minutes, and in a couple years we bring him over to the states when we think he's ready to contribute. His contract with the Pels doesn't start until he comes over here. So basically, let's not waste any years on the rookie contract when he's not ready to contribute.

Eta: And what FB said.
