Everyone is healthy. What's the excuse now?

Everyone kept saying wait until Elfrid and Mirotic came back. They're back.

Irrational optimism?

People assume that when X and Y return, they will add value and A, B, C will stay the same. But that rarely happens. What I mean by that is they thought Payton and Mirotic would add value but they never considered that others would bring less value.
Moore has been beyond awful lately. He was 15 ppg, 53% from the field, 48% from three in the first two months. Lately, he has been terrible and he doesn't add defense nor does he do anything else in the box score.
This is a team that is gonna play close games against everyone. And it will come down to 1 or 2 plays. In this game, KAT hits a big three while Pels missed some WIDE OPEN ones earlier in the 4th that could have pushed the lead to 6 or higher. Frazier comes in for 4 minutes and is god awful.
Its just little stretches here or there, a single play, maybe two. And they are going against the Pels far more than in their favor this year. But if Moore would have fell off 30% instead of 75%, they'd be racking up wins.

They lost a game they shouldn’t have even have really been competitive in with the way they were turning the ball over, shooting the 3, and getting buttfricked by the refs/Gentry. It’ll happen.

Yeah, we shot 20% from 3, if we shoot our usual 33-35%, we win this game..
IMO if Payton were on the floor instead of Moore down the stretch, we win this game

They lost to a team that's 15-7 at home. Not a real shocker.

Pels now have the same point differential as the Blazers.
Its crazy, but something as small as having Satoransky instead of Frazier this year, and they are fighting for the 3 seed right now.

Its the same problem its always been. They need to Fire Gentry.

Oh I'd love to get Sato.. I say make a trade right now for Porter and Sato, and go to the postseason..
One thing is clear, we have to make a move soon at the PG spot, otherwise we going to have to start playing Payton 38 mins a game

Its too late now. By the time you get the guys in and acclimated, the team will be something like 22-27. From there, you gotta go 24-9 to make the playoffs. That aint happening.

The excuse is that injuries caused early season struggles that now magnify results that shouldn't shock anyone. In other words, the margin of error has become so small you see an 82 game season as a 16 game and melt when a few breaks don't go your way.

I would be willing to bet if most teams had Tim Frazier seeing 20-30 minutes a night due to bad luck they would be below .500 also. Not a knock on the kid glad hes on the team but Id prefer him seeing less than 10 minutes a game.

Frazier shouldnt be seeing any minutes, he should be a hype man on the bench...
He has times hes good, but the bad far outweighs the good with him

No perimeter forward!!

yeah, time to talk to AD and see what he thinks, then trade him to Chicago for their first Carter and L Markenen.

Right? I can’t believe they didn’t get back to their form immediately after guys returned from injury.

vintage Pels:
trade for PG of the future, lock him up to near max deal, and then realize he isn't a PG
have a season that may ultimately decide if the franchise stays in the city boil down to a player like Elfrid Payton and not having a backup roughly of Payton's quality

Elfrid is back to his mediocre form from Orlando and PHX.

He is always going to be mediocre. But when your other option (Frazier) is pure trash, mediocre is a massive upgrade. Rondo is mediocre nowadays but looked like a stud at times in this system. Gotta wonder what Pels would look like if they put a good PG in that role.
