You don't remember '08. We ask so little. Not even a championship but a team that can be competitive into round 2 and the region absolutely caught fever over that team. They can't build a consistent fanbase because they have failed to put out something that people with a choice (besides diehard lunatic masochists like me and others here) would subject themselves to. I mean frick we've been going over 10 years where our supposedly generational talents--Toni and Zion put us through constant bullshite with alternating between being fragile pussies both mentally and physically and rumors about whether they hate it here and would force a trade.

What other fanbase has been asked to put up with this same shite for so long? We still ask so. frickin. little. Play with passion and pride and occasionally make a frickin run for us. This fanbase would love the team so hard if they just gave us a bare minimum to love.

Because we are still just a collection of talent that doesn't really play well together. So when we play teams with less talent that are undisciplined like we are or catch a good team on an off nightwe look like world beaters. But when we play teams with equal or greater talent or lesser talented teams that execute well we struggle
