I do not like his fit on this team at all, but do you take a chance on that raw talent (or hope another team covers him increasing the value of 10)

The tide is turning on him to much, imo. Dude averaged 16, 7, and 3 plus a steal and a block in the GLeague, although inefficiently. I have to wonder what his numbers look like if he goes to college and how that impacts his stock. The potential is still high enough that I would probably take him 5.

The issue with Kuminga is that his sort of play is just so out of style. He’s a long very raw player that is inefficient and can’t shoot. Raw natural talent but little skill.

I would actually disagree with this a bit. I think Keon Johnson has little skill. I think Kuminga has a good skill set with some more playmaking potential waiting to be developed. I think the shot is promising, the release is good and the base is a little funky, but definitely fixable. You don’t have to recreate it. His efficiency could go a long way by just improving his shot selection.

That’s kind of what I mean by I wonder what he looks like if he goes to college. Not only is the talent better in the G-League but he only played 13 games. He never got the chance to truly figure it out like he would have getting to play 30+ games in college.

Even Cade Cunningham was just a 40% guy when they first started Conference Play, by the end he was shooting 50%.

He'll probably fall to 9 and get snatched like Haliburton last year.

Assuming Magic Johnson bc Hali plays more like him than actual MJ (Michael Jordan)

Personally I would take the chance on Kuminga at 10. It's also a Godsend scenario for us because even if we don't want to take the chance on him, some team is going to really want him there and we could pick up an asset out of it.

Kispert is falling in a lot of mocks. I saw one that had him going 29. Hopefully the Pels are bringing him in as a trade down/trade back into the first scenario. I’d much rather take Wieskamp at 35 than Kispert at 10

haha i saw that too. That was CBS. Those guys are apparently morons.
They had Brandon Boston going 9th. I had to look up who that even was when i saw that b/c he isnt' projected in the 1st round anywhere else, much less top 10. They had Jalen Johnson and Zaire Williams going 7th and 8th.
They had Moody going 20th and Wagner going 24th.
I think it's safe to say they don't know what they are doing, or maybe they are geniuses?

Haha, yep that’s s the one. It was really bad, they had us taking Kai Jones at 10, which would cause a full meltdown here. But others have Kispert falling too, though not that far.

Kispert and Moody both appear to be falling, and i think Mitchell won't go as high either.
You're starting to hear more about the young high potential guys moving up the boards, which is fine by me. There's a lot more to basketball than having a big vertical.

Moody just seems like such a good fit skillset wise if we actually keep the pick.

Moody just worked out with the Warriors (with Davion, Kai, and Jalen) over the weekend and it seems like there's been a lot of buzz from Warriors Twitter that they were impressed. Anthony Slater said this morning that if he had to guess who they pick right now, it would be Moody. They seem to biggest threat to take him off the board assuming they keep their pick.

They're not going to pass on Moody. He makes too much sense for them. Moody allows Klay to be load managed, brings versatility by being able to play 2, 3, and probably a small ball 4 in that offense. The fit is just too good. NBA ready body, good shooter, and projects to be a strong defender that can defend multiple positions.
