I know Green looks good on paper, but in the end I worry about how he will defend. He can add strength but I not sure he ever becomes more than an average defender. He might put up 25 ppg by being the first option in Houston or Detroit, but since we have Zion we need someone who can play off the ball and defend the wing. I think Suggs can do that. Suggs can probably play the 1 or 2 while being good enough to defend early in his career.
Griffin just must draft the BPA and i honestly think Green is the BPA after Cunningham (he was really good in G-League).
We will see the fit more later.

Unfortunately we won't see any more Cade, but it seems like most of the top prospects have played really well in the tournament so far. Not too impressed with the Tennessee guys though, but that might just be because Rick Barnes is an incompetent coach.
This was an interesting tidbit from Draft Dummies on Twitter:
Still a long way to go until draft day, but Barnes and Moody are looking like really really good consolation prizes for teams that miss out on the top 5.

Scottie Barnes has posted an Ast% of 33% this year, which ranks as the best ever (by far) for a Freshman over 6'8 (Ben Simmons is 2nd at 27.4). He also ranks 2nd in both Stl% and Ast% for all players in CBB this season over 6'8. Pretty unique skills at his size/length.

It makes me wonder if Kuminga falls a little bit.

Barnes could be top 3 best fit for Pelicans IMO. Would love to see us get him some how

How about Josh Giddey? 6’8 Aussie PG. not sure about the competition, but putting up really good numbers for a 18 y/o with those measurables.

If we use our 1st round pick on a PG not named Cade or Suggs then we did something wrong

Well he’s 6’8, the idea would be him possibly being able to play the 2 or 3. Giannis was listed as a PG coming into the draft.

I’ll go with best offensive player in the draft Cam Thomas.
Bookmark this. Not an LSU homer pick.

He'd make a great pick at 35.

Absolutely absurd how you could even think this. There are so many better offensive players at this point in time
Posted on 3/22/21 at 5:03 pm to LilWezyAna
These guys wanting Cam Thomas in the top 10 have clearly never watched many of these prospects games and have only watched LSU games

You can’t judge a player off of one game.

Cade Cunningham....now shut the frick up with this dumb homerism.
You’re like the LSU football fan that only watches one team and then thinks even every mediocre LSU player should go in the first round

I’ll put 1000 on the table right now that Cam Thomas is not rookie of the year next year. You in slick?
And I like Cam Thomas, think he has a Lou Williams like ceiling(and a floor out of the league), but you’re hyping an ultra high usage, undersized, low efficiency 2 guard that averages less than 2 assists per game, that archetype taps out at 6th man in the NBA.
Reminds me when LSU homers were hyping Marcus Thornton as some future NBA superstar.
