Oh dear god. Did you hear he drove Scalia around DC?
You do know, they are GREAT friends.

What a horseshite reason.

I think the owners could counter those with the way that he, his agents and his friends were undermining the value of trades. As for antitrust, I'm pretty sure the CBA takes that off the table. As for interference, they own the team and would be an active participant in the contract.

Just keep ignoring that whole MP LP thing.

Except, they weren't, because if Paul had his way, he'd be in NYC...

I honestly just looked back through the entire thread and don't see what you're talking about, hoss. Feel free to bump.

We dictated where CP3 went. He wanted the Knicks, but we shipped him to the Lakers and got the best value we could. If we flip the Lakers with the Clippers, a less-off franchise, does Stern whine about it? I would say probably not.

Hornets are getting royally fricked

It's a lie. The other owners turned on the Lakers. Period. And they are willing to make their "asset" the Hornets suffer by having Paul leave them for nothing in return.
If they didn't want the small market bullying to happen, they would NEVER have made a new CBA without a franchise tag proivision. Screw the NBA.

I don't know what thread its in because there's been about 6 of them, but I directly responded to you.

Not so sure about it. But if so, now I'm thinking of something akin to a derivative action. It's self dealing on the part of the "owners" to the detriment of the Hornets.

He knew that there was no way he was going to NYK and the LAL were clearly his second option, so he tried to force his way there and got smacked.

So is he going to force teamss to pay for someone that he won't extend with? Or just frick us and let him FA and REALLY determine where he wants to go?
If the NBA would have included a franchise tag, the league wouldn't be in this fricking mess it is in now. They knew it and they were too fricking stupid to do anything about it.

Wouldn't that be an argument for the HORNETS to make? Or the Lakers? I'm not saying what they did is legit, but I really don't think CP3 has much standing to fight it from his position.

If this deal truly is in the shitter, Stern will find a way to make it up to the Hornets in N.O. I'm telling you guys, the Hornets are one of his pet projects. Just stay tuned.
