Or just frick us and let him FA and REALLY determine where he wants to go?

I think they want to call his bluff and see how much money he's willing to walk away from.

If they pushed for a franchise tag, we'd still have a lockout.

Stern will find a way to make it up to the Hornets in N.O. I'm telling you guys, the Hornets are one of his pet projects. Just stay tuned.

Nobody wants to be a NBA charity, lets Demps make his moves and try to compete. If the trade doesn't work I wouldn't be surprised to see Demps quit.

Good...the league is still broken. They haven't fixed anything as far as competitive balance goes.

Make the Warriors trade Curry? Give the Hornets the 1st overall pick in the draft? BJs from Honeybees to all the fans that have to put up with this stuff?

He knew that there was no way he was going to NYK and the LAL were clearly his second option, so he tried to force his way there and got smacked.

If that's really what they are pissed about, then why not block Melo to NYC? Based on that principle the deal is exactly the same...

True, but they took the opportunity to slap CP3 in the face and publicly confirm that he was indeed being a dick and forcing a trade to the team of his liking. Now if the deal goes through, he can't claim noble intentions.

I've said it a dozen times, they didn't have the leverage of owning the Nuggets or a CBA needing signatures. This situation is entirely different in that they DID have the leverage this time.

That could work, but I've already had that.

And since I'm satiated, I suggest to you that the deal will still happen.

To listen to the GM's, coaches, players, agents reaching out to me tonight: I think the NBA has changed forever with Stern's act tonight.
