Murray is a real a-hole for that

I would assume the comment was related to his public interview trashing the organization.
There's maybe a handful of players that haven't trashed our organization publicly. Considering past mistakes and the current status of the team its probably never been more warranted.
Most the people shitting on him or calling him a cancer have shared his exact same opinion of the team as a whole and yet he tells the truth and is a bad guy? Fans are just scrambling to find someone to be mad at.
Zion is still on the roster and nothings changed for 20 years? Lets blame Murray!!

1. Do you have the facts on this or is this just an opinion that helps support your view of the situation?
2. Do you really think there is any world where Murray or the Pels think a trade is going to happen without him on the court playing? That might be the dumbest fricking opinion I've seen on this situation. Even if he played for a month it wouldn't be enough to evaluate.
3.Murray was NEVER going to be traded this year and Jose was ALWAYS going to be traded before the end of the year. But keep saying shite to support the pessimism porn train.

1. Have you ever thought that he's playing now because he's healthy and simply can?
2. Can you give me an example of any team rushing back one of their best players from a season ending injury for a team who is bottom 5 in league? No you can't can you because it doesn't make any fricking sense.
3. Do you think if Murray was healthy and the team wasn't in shambles that he would still not be playing?
You are straight up blaming Murray for having a season ending injury and then the whole team/ FO failing him before he comes back for any meaningful minutes.

Change the thread title to “Not playing this week.” Maybe better luck next week?

quote:It's well known by anyone who covers or follows Pelicans basketball, has been discussed extensively, and those who cover the Pels have said thsi over and over.
1. Do you have the facts on this or is this just an opinion that helps support your view of the situation?
If you refuse to believe it, that's fine. You can do that.
quote:I never gave that opinion, what are you even talking about right now?
Do you really think there is any world where Murray or the Pels think a trade is going to happen without him on the court playing? That might be the dumbest fricking opinion I've seen on this situation.
quote:Again, you can feel free to believe whatever you want or ONLY believe something if Shams himself reported it or Murray or the Pels said it. You're well within your right to do that, have at it.
3.Murray was NEVER going to be traded this year and Jose was ALWAYS going to be traded before the end of the year. But keep saying shite to support the pessimism porn train.
quote:No, because he's been healthy for a while now and didn't play while healthy.
1. Have you ever thought that he's playing now because he's healthy and simply can?
quote:What does "rushing back" have to do with THIS discussion? The answer is nothing, but interested to see why you raised that point when it's not relevant to THIS discussion.
2. Can you give me an example of any team rushing back one of their best players from a season ending injury for a team who is bottom 5 in league? No you can't can you because it doesn't make any fricking sense.
quote:He 100% would be playing, which is the point. He refused to play for his team because they weren't any good and wanted to be traded before the deadline. It's common knowledge. That you won't believe it if the Pels themselves don't report it is what it is.
3. Do you think if Murray was healthy and the team wasn't in shambles that he would still not be playing?
quote:Why put words in my mouth when I literally said what I believe? That's pretty dumb if you to do.
You are straight up blaming Murray for having a season ending injury and then the whole team/ FO failing him before he comes back for any meaningful minutes.
I'm blaming Murray for being healthy for a while now and not returning to play for the team that is paying him. You can add and pretend and make up all the stuff you want about my thoughts, it's all pointless and a waste of your time when I've given you my thoughts.
When you hav to resort to putting words in my mouth, that just shows me you know you have no argument against the opinions I've actually given.

Now they are saying that he is "aiming" to return on Tuesday.

Sounds like he will play tomorrow. Really a shame though his time here hasn’t worked out.

Dejounte Murray: "This city is passionate. They are loving and caring. They’ll get behind you if you show them the same. I want to go represent for New Orleans. I want to give the fans something to be able to come to the game and have fun so when they go home they can say ‘that's my team’ and that’s New Orleans."
quote:
Murray on a desire to return now: "I’m not one of them guys that (say), ‘I’m paid. I can get an extra six or seven months (to recover). My team is what, 14th (place) in the West? There are a lot of excuses for a chump to be like, ‘Nah, I ain’t playing.’ I’m the opposite of that."

I hope he's averages 20+/8/5 when he returns and looking like an absolute asset.

I hope he looks like his old self. I just watched his interview and I hope he didn’t catch that flu that’s going around because those coughs throughout the interview sounded like how it starts.

He just needs to gradually get better and the last few games when other teams are shutting it down make it look like he is an Allstar again

Restricted minutes? Who gets less time then? Bey? Fears? Queen? Does he even really want to be here? I see he is represented by Klutch Sports. Winner.

The nice part is - you can probably give minutes from Poole, mcgowen, and fears.
Murray is the best ball handler we have, it'd be nice to see him with zion and queen
