After looking at it, I don't think a Lakers deal is that bad - they'd get more young players, albeit players who have not developed as much as hoped, as of now. But no good picks from the Lakers.
With Boston, it's kind of all in on Tatum, but they would get some good picks.
And, of course, the Pels have a vested interest in getting AD out of the West.

But they aren’t really assets...hell one is barely an average player and he’s already had his camp say he’s not coming here. Yes we’re never going to get true value for AD but the lakers don’t belong in the running but since they’re the Lakers we just have to eat their shite sandwich

Tatum is the type if player you hope to draft with a top 3 pick. The odds of the Pels getting an equal or better player without winning the lottery are very low. Tatum and picks us much better than what Lebron is peddling.

The problems with the Lakers:

- Ball doesn’t want to be here, so you have to find a 3rd team...someone like Orlando
- Brandon Ingram is coming off his rookie deal next year, so you’re going to have to overpay for someone that hasn’t shown he’s worth max money
- Kuzma has a hip issue, and if that doesn’t sound serious, it could very well be similar to the injury that derailed Isiaiah Thomas’ career. It sounds like every time he plays on it, it gets worse. That is...uh...not good at all.
- Zubac is expiring
- The Pels look super weak by getting strong armed by Lebron and the Lakers
- You probably piss off every small market team in the league, damaging every single one of those relationships some

That’s a TON of red flags....even if you don’t like the Boston deal as much (you shouldn’t have this opinion, Tatum is 50 cents while every Lakers asset is a quarter at best and they have better picks to offer), you take it if it’s even remotely close to the Lakers offer to save face.

Tatum is better than Lonzo and Ingram combined. Kuzma is injured and they have no good picks to send us.

Just wait for Boston and hope other teams inquire to drive the price up. Ainge has a hard on for AD and will likely do whatever it takes to get him

Boston's package without Tatum and just Smart, Brown, picks is better than LA's.
