The only 2 teams we have to worry about taking Lillard are Toronto and Portland.

Since Portland has another pick right after ours, I don't see them reaching for a PG there. I think they take one with that second pick. So Toronto is our biggest concern. Hopefully they pick someone up in FA.

I'm not going to pretend to have seen him play live like most will. I've just watched some tape and read up on him.

I just think a team falls in love with his ability to score and the way he plays the game. GMs have Russell Westbrook stuck in their head, especially right now. I don't think he's a top 5 talent personally. And I'd actually rather Rivers for the Hornets.

He doesn't miss. We gotta have him. Even says his team in college needed him to score points so that's what he focused on. Do whatever you have to do to get him.
New owner, new name, new culture.
Lillard, Gordon, Davis.
Championship!

Could you imagine what an older, more seasoned Rivers would do in the Big Sky conference.......#entersarcasmhere

Honestly tho, I'm not tryin to be douche about Lillard cuz I think he's a very good player....I just dont like him for our team. I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong about the guy if thats who we take and he succeeds. I just feel like Rivers could become a star......and yes, play the 3 for us efficiently.

You're more than likely correct on this, but I'm gonna stand firm on Rivers.....even though I have the feeling it will be Lillard.

If you honestly believe that Rivers can play SF for any length of time in this league, I know for a fact that you don't know shite about basketball.

Dude, my bad......I didnt realize he was only 6-4. I seriously thought he was 6-7.

My feeling of him being a very good starter for us was getting the best of me and the days of Belli being eliminated kept running through my head. So starting at the 2 is out of the question.

I just want the guy on our team. Maybe he hits a growth spurt like AD.
