Reason is because we lost Favors and we didn’t think Hayes was ready. So we decided to get Adams. Also having another vet guard in Bledsoe and drafting Kira.
More of a need. Cp3 would help us but he wouldn’t help us win a championship. If we was a piece missing away or our stars hit their prime. I’m all for it but we aren’t.

Anyone who thinks the Suns meteoric rise is because of Monty Williams coaching and not because they added a PG that wins 50+ wherever he goes simply isn't paying attention (oh hey 2020 OKC).
Chris Paul with this amount of raw talent around him, is an absolutely insane notion. It doesn't win a title but it is instantly this seasons Suns on protein powder (didn't wanna go full steroids Devin Booker is serious).
The question is, would short term high level success without a title be worth stunting the growth of Point Zion, which is going to be our chance at a title.
Chris Paul has got to be one of the most underrated basketball players of all time. It's truly insane that no matter what injuries are dealt to slow him down, that he manages to literally turn any team in the NBA into a 50+ win team.

This thread is still going? When is the "Lebron is the missing link" thread happening? What about the "Durant is the missing link"? I can't wait. Those threads are going to be awesome.

Young players like Zion, BI etc just curently need to have PO experience.
Everything in its due time. CP3 gives you this PO experience.
BI has already 5 years without PO in nba, it's bad for his development...
Not to mention all the advice that CP3 would can give for Zion and BI.
Either way the Pels are a long way from being able to win championship right now.
Parts are missing and some parts must be traded (Adams, Bledsoe).

You provide great content, man (says no one ever).
It's an opinion outside of the annual "let's tank" talk that fills this board every fricking year.
I'll say it again. This Pelicans team has a very low basketball IQ overall. I view Chris Paul like a Drew Brees, and he's proven that he can make any team better. Y'all like point Zion? I do too. Now, imagine him playing with Paul..
You children forget how "great" Tyson Chandler was as a Hornet. While he was a good compliment on the Mavericks' championship team, he never replicated the success he had with the Hornets. Why do you think that was?
Shall we go on?
David West
Blake Griffin
DeAndre Jordan
Eric Gordon
Do you recall the roster Paul won with in OKC last season? Yeah, no one else can either. Look it up, dude.
And, let's not forget the #1 Suns. Look at that roster and then take him off the roster. They would be 25-29 like our pels or worse.
You're a troll, dude.

Got anything to contribute?

No, I'm interested in talking about the Pelicans, which is why I post in Pels Talk. I'm not interested in contributing anything to the fantasy team that you're making in the world where the salary cap doesn't exist.
