Once the Hornets become the reborn Sonics, then yes. The wealthiest owner in the NBA in conjunction with Paul and the awesome income tax-free city of Seattle will bring Dwight running.

The Magic have to get rid of Arenas in a deal with Howard if they have to move on.

How much money would you like to bet whether Seattle has a team within, say, 5 years? I say they won't. Regardless of fan support in ticket sales, they are on the NBA's (Stern's) shite list.

I doubt we have another team here anytime soon, but I don't think being black balled is the issue. Seattle needs a new arena before the NBA returning would be a possibility, and there's no way it's going to be even partially funded by the public. It's basically all up to Ballmer and other wealthy locals. If Ballmer decides to foot the bill for arena and make an aggressive move for a team I really doubt Stern would shoot him down.

Look, if either Seattle or Mr. Maybe I Will or Maybe I Won't steps up and builds an arena, then, yes, I think Seattle is in line for a team. I just don't see it happening in any way that affects the Hornets.

I don't really think Seattle is going to steal the Hornets. It was a flame post. My response to your question was serious though.

I know.

I actually do think Seattle deserves a team because of fan support. I think the economics of the NBA suck big time.

I'd put the chances of this happening at less than 1% though.

it's between 0 and 0.1 %

Would Howard getting offered a part on True Blood or Treme be considered tampering? If not Demps needs to make it happen.

Yes. Make the Magic an offer they can't refuse. Okafor, Ariza, a second round pick and a $1,000 gift certificate to the NBA store in New York.

Make it $2,000 and to the NBA City store at Universal Studios and you've got a deal.

Ya know, less travel.

Plus, I'll personally go pick up the merchandise and hand deliver it to the Magiç's headquarters.

Seems like we'd just have to give up too much to make it work financially.

CP3 and Dwight would be good, but with no one else it wouldn't work. If we could manage to get those 2 and DWest, then we have something big going. But that won't happen

Been saying this for months...people finally getting on board with it now!

We should make this a reality for 2012 if we want to keep CP3!
