Can anyone see a potential trade with the heat depending on how the coaching hire goes? Heat have young assets and Jrue seems like would fit like a glove next to jimmy and Jae crowder. Maybe I’m overestimating Miami’s want/need to upgrade roster this offseason but I certainly think they will he listening and asking around. They try and find value anywhere

I don't see why they will part ways with their young assets with how good they are developing. They have a good nucleus right now to build around.

Herron for Jrue + JJ? I don't think they'll do it though.

Griff should be fired ASAP if he did that trade

Heat won’t do it, but somehow landing Tyler Herro would be incredible.

The Heat GM should be fired for doing that trade. Give up a cheap long term asset for two expirings.

Y’all over value the hell out of Herro if you think he has more value than a combo of Jrue and JJ especially for a team that’s wanting to win now.

I’ve been reading they’ve been trying to acquire expiring contracts to pursue 20-21 free agents is why I started the thread

Could they, sure.

Would Miami send out the assets needed to get them is another question, and I don't think they would do it after seeing their young core and how they are doing

No, Miami wouldn’t send us the pieces we’d want to reasonably make it work.

I don’t see the heat making any trades. They have a young core with butler and they might win a fricking championship lol. There team isn’t going to break up anytime soon and oh by the way they will have the cap space next season to keep there young core and sign a big time free agent

It would definitely go against their recent MO in team building

I think in which the Pels are trying & should try to copy

Yea they’re pretty much set. They have Herro, Robinson, Nunn, Jones Jr, and Adebayo going into the future. They’re sitting pretty.

Agreed.

Easier said than done. Riley and Spo are elite.

Are you asking if getting a former #1 overall pick (even though he hasn't lived up to his contract to this point), plus the #2 pick is better than getting last years #13 pick thats basically a one trick pony? (3 pt shooter)

Not sure if serious

In all fairness though, that former #1 overall has a huge contract attached to him and he has a reputation of being lazy.

Y'all are seriously sleeping on Herro. He's far from a one trick pony. Duncan Robinson is the one trick pony.

I dont think Miami would trade Herro or Bam, I think the best package they would put together would be Nunn and Robinson, which would be interesting. I like both players for this team.
