re: Christian Wood: "We played down to our competition"

Dallas should have won with 3 of our 5 best players out.
Pels stepped the frick up and the only ones that showed up from Dallas were Luka, Wood, and Spencer. Unlike the Pels, every role player on Dallas just thought they could cruise to victory
So, their 3 best players showed up and they lost. And we played down to them?
You’re defending Wood right now

Where did I say WE played down to them??
I said Wood isn’t wrong, on paper they should have been able to beat us last night with us missing 3 of our 5 best players. Them having theirs. Including a top 5ish player in the league.
They failed to, they should be pissed. Would you have accepted if a Luka/Wood/Dinwiddie-less team came out and beat Zion/BI/McCollum? Then McCollum rolled out and said yeah, we suck, we shouldn’t have beat that hobbled team, we punched up and lost? Of course not.
On the contrary, no one on our team that I can think of would be that brash in stating it, but if they had in a similar scenario, they’d be right
This team showed last night that you can’t just assume a win even without BI/Zion, and Dallas learned that shite the hard way

Bronc and Wood or Boom and Harden
Who knights harder?
At least Bronc's other takes are good unlike Boom.

I’d put my track record up against anyone, you most definitely smartass
Do we want to revisit who was right about: Garland/Hayes, Steven Adams being a bad acquisition, Trey would become our best non-Zion pick in the Griff era, questioned NAW’s capacity to replace Lonzo, first to mention Dyson Daniels, and warned you all that Wood was a much better talent than friggin Melli or Okafor and to not crown Jax as inevitably better than Wood?
Fact is more often than not these conversations come back around with hindsight and my take tends to stand up, while yours dont

It was a dumb quote that should have never been said, but it was fair. Due to our injuries they were favored by 5.5 and still lost.
I do think the league and the general public hasn't completely figured out how deep this team is tho... we are basically like the Grizz were last year in terms of quality of guys 3 through 11 on the roster. Reminds me of when Morant went out and the Grizz won like 10 games in a row.

You are constantly arguing with people on here about shite.
Yeah, I'm wrong at times, because I'm an eternal optimist. It's just how I choose to consume sports. I don't understand being a negative Nancy about something that is supposed to be for enjoyment/entertainment.
You take your knighting for Wood to an unhealthy level, he's not going to frick you

I called why we had nothing but good vibes, and called what would be a reason some of those good vibes disappear.
And here we are now today

Much like every conversation involving this man, some of you all inevitably project your reactionary negative emotions onto the one person actually being objective.
Much like the OG thread where I stood back and said, you know, Jax is unproven, Melli is a Euro journeyman, Okafor is not built for the modern game, and what Wood demonstrated shows me something talent wise, and a bunch of you lobbed similar projections mine a couple others way, when, turns out, we were reading things objectively and correctly, you all were acting emotionally defensive.

Oh look, shel needs constant validation so he's attempting to illicit a personal attack pile-on in lieu of a bunch of shite takes he had... Must be a day ending in "y."

Least amount of self awareness ever.

Wood is way better than the players we kept over him.
But he's a shitty person and teammate who would make us worse.

Stating the facts as a rebuttal to an accusation/insinuation isn't seeking out validation

Epic Cajun: Why are you always so mad and fighting with everyone?
Bronc: I'm always right about everything more than all of you
Me: I told you guys Bronc would ruin the good vibes
Bronc: Shel needs constant validation!!!
That self awareness tho....woo boy.
