SONS

WE AINT DOING THIS WHOLE frickING ITS OVER bullshite. PELS LOST THEIR TOP TWO DOGS AND WE PLAYED THE TOUGHEST PART OF OUR SCHEDULE ALL AT THE SAME frickING TIME.

YEAH THEIR IS A LOT OF PROBLEMS ON THE TEAM. OUR 2ND YEAR PLAYERS ARE HITTING SLUMPS ALL AT THE SAME TIME. OUR 3PT SHOOTING IS DEAD. OUR TURNOVERS SHOW OUR LACK OF A TRUE PG THAT CAN PLAY BOTH SIDES. BUT WE'RE frickING FIGHTING IN A LOT OF OUR GAMES DURING THIS LOSING STREAK. WE ARENT frickING QUITTING.

AND I'M NOT frickING QUITTING AND YOU SHOULDNT frickING QUIT EITHER. THE PELS ARE ABOUT TO GO ON A frickING RUN. IT MAY NOT BE SATURDAY, IT MAY NOT BE SUNDAY, BUT WE'RE GOING TO FIX THIS frickING shite, ESPECIALLY WHEN GUMBO COMES BACK.

YOU CAN KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THIS IS THE SAME OLD PELS, AND YEAH, THERE'S frickING HISTORY TO IT. BUT THIS ISNT THE SAME ORG WITH TONÍ. THIS ENTIRE FRANCHISE HAS IMPROVED ITSELF FROM THE INSIDE TO THE frickING OUTSIDE. WE USE TO LEAVE frickING MOPS FOR OUR STAR PLAYERS TO SLIP ON DURING GAMES FFS.

WE WILL SURVIVE. WE WILL RISE. WE WILL MAKE TOP 6 AT MINIMUM AND frick THE LEAGUE UP. STAY ON THE BUS MOTHERfrickERS. I'M NOT frickING DONE AND YOU ARENT EITHER.

Bad luck? Bro they’ve lost how many straight?

There’s way more to this than bad luck. This the same old pels doing the same old pels stuff.

I’ve been as critical of this franchise as anyone over the years, but I gotta say, I agree with whatiknowsofar.

This is not those teams imo

I get all the signs on the surface are somewhat there, injuries, taking up big losses, a sense of hopelessness and inevitability, but dig anymore than skin deep and it’s simply not the same.

We have a bunch of roster imbalances, and our top two players hobbled, rumors that CJ still dealing with hand issues.

This team is a Bogdanovic and health away from being a nightmare threat in a 7 game series again. With as strong a 1-5 roster as anyone. With several guys on rookie contracts that are steadily improving into impact guys(Trey, Jose, Dyson). You can simply not say that about past iterations of this franchise.

I can see the reports in 2025 that he's still dealing with "hand issues" to explain his drop in play

I guess that's one of the issues with relying on so many young guys to do so much this early. They all seemed to hit a wall this season because they had to play bigger roles than they were supposed to and that has really affected their play. The burden they're taking on is just too big and too soon.

When things are bad, they struggle to get past it vs a veteran who's seen all the ups and downs of the NBA and can play through it.

Our young guys hit a flash in the pan last season but they're not immune to the ups and downs that comes with being a young NBA player.

Next week is the week I’m excited for. I like how we are aggressive in the trade market. We have ton of picks and not a lot of roster spots left.

This is my thoughts on it. Not only are you asking role players to play above their role for too long, all of those role players are very young players. I still have confidence that if they can get back to those roles, they'll come out of their slumps and we'll look every bit as good as we did early in the season. The biggest question mark is whether or not we will get BI and Zion healthy at the same time.

I agree with this take but did want to add a lot of us were concerned at the lack of shooters the team had. Of the young guys, only Trey is a plus shooter. That is proving to be one of the main issues with the team.

3 - 18 ?
Hobbled twins have been completely unreliable for FOUR YEARS despite being YOUNG. That is not going to change in the future as both age.

I'm still on the bus. If you'd like there's the door. Just don't come back when things are sun shiny again.

The frick team are you watching?

Dyson will be lucky to play again this year, and Trey/Herb/Jose are regressing faster than Herb's first foul call

What doesn’t kill you …..

Pelicans hang tough make adjustments around the margins (Big that can move his feet), and start rolling.

And Dyson is way ahead of the curve, and Trey has gone from barely playing to a 13ppg role player with great upside and nearly 40% from three.

Herb has regressed, which is why if you read again I didn’t mention him. Jose is up and down but he is still a feisty defender and the biggest problem for him is he needs shooting too. He’s someone that should be putting pressure on both sides of the ball and not asked to try and be a gunner.

And Trey is only catch and shoot. He needs to be able to create his own three.

You might be right, but he did hurt his shooting hand again. He got hit trying to make a pass but I can't remember the game. He went out of bounds and came back shaking it. He was wearing a brace of some sort last few games.
