James Harden has a career avg 36% from 3

Harden is also very good due to his ability to drive/finish and he’s probably a top 3 passer in the league. That’s why his 3 pointer is valuable even if its not insanely efficient.

Cam Thomas may be the worst creator for others in the entire draft and he is not good at getting by people with dribbling. Also one of the worst defenders in the draft.

His one, literal one, calling card is volume scoring, and he didnt do if efficiently in college. His efficiency was saved by his free throw shooting, which they just came out in the NBA and said they are trying to limit the BS that Cam used a lot of to get fouls in college. If Can ends up really good and proves me wrong, that’s fine, but that only happens if he drastically changes as a player in pretty much every way

He's a good shooter with a bad shot selection, somewhat similar to Trae in regards to shooting.

I think Cam will be a great player in the NBA, but also think it's going to take a while to get there. His defense is one of the most troubling aspects for sure.

I don’t see any situation where we just select a player at 17. I think it’s pretty clear they want to use it for a vet or future asset. Not many guys at 17 help you year 1 and we need to be making moves for this coming season. That’s the shitty part of the NBA, you have to coddle your stars more than any other sport or risk them demanding a trade or have their agents leak to the media how unhappy they are.

If he really focuses on developing IQ over anything else, then I do think he can probably be a good shooter in the NBA. Im just not confident the IQ part will happen. I dont ever see him as “the guy” on a great team. Every 2 point shot he took in college was contested and difficult because he isnt really elite at creating space other than long stepback 3s

Well the Pelicans didn’t work out that many players, so we can guess that their plan is probably Davion Mitchell, Corey Kispert, Chris Duarte, or Jaden Springer at 17.

If we get any one of those I’d be happy. Can also add Murphy to that list. It will be one of those 5.

Good point, I forgot about that Hollinger rumor that the Pels liked him. I actually want Murphy over all of those guys, but like all of them at 17.

I really love this draft class. There are just so many more interesting players in the 10-25 range than there normally is. When we look back in 10 years, I don’t think this draft class will be full of all stars, but there will be tons of guys who will have solid nba careers.

Trade down to 23&24 and take Dayron Sharp and either Jared Butler or Joshua Primo.

This is the problem, especially with Dell and Griff to some extent. Zion is still 20. We should be adding at least one guy every year and hope he we catch lighting in a bottle.

Look at Miami and Philly, they are getting their name in the Beal sweepstakes, Lillard etc, because they are using Herro, same with Philly using Maxey who showed out last year.

We need to keep adding young players because you never know which one might outperform and we could use them as trade bait to bring in that superstar. Or they might just be a perfect fit with what we have or may be needed to fill in spots if we trade our other younger guys.

Yep, me. But the winner never got back to me after I bumped him like 5 times so I just bought them for myself

I think Kispert goes in that 14-18 range, so I think it's possible he falls to us.
