Probably wont but I still think Griff will try hard with portland. I just think charlotte desperately wants teams to engaged with them and they’re not.

Funny but I have a feeling that you’re right about this. Also about how bad the blazers want Zion to team up with Dame.

That Dame threat is real. They’re owner is trying to sell, easier to do with Dame and Zion on team. Portland really doesn’t want to rebuild.

I think Charlotte's leaks could be backfiring.
Teams are seeing them say "Oh the PEls might give Zion or BI" and no team is offering a guy like that.
Portland might be more likely to deal.
Regardless, I just don't see anything happening.

Portland and big men with injury issues doesn’t end well.
Make sure we get swap rights too.

If Zion isn’t traded, it’s because we weren’t willing to. All this bluster like every other team in the league wouldn’t fall over backwards for him is BS. He’s 22 years old and signed for five years. Not to mention he’s more box office than nearly every player in the league, in a money making business. The only part of all this basketball talk heading towards the draft that I can’t stand is people acting around obvious facts.
Us trading Zion is like us standing in front of a pole in the freezing cold. Everyone telling us it’s a good idea to lick the pole. You know damn well if we do, those same people are going to point, laugh and run away. Leaving us stuck in pain.

It was dumb for them to even suggest something like that if they want to get rid of the pick. That's something you say when you're not really intending to move the pick. Not even sure what they are doing.

Remember griff has struck a deal with blazers before. Plus look at the latest blazers leak: we will give massive offer from Bam- which heat were like frick off lol Blazers desperately want a vet and we have the only we MAY consider trading to them.

The analogies on this board for trading Zion and BI are very interesting to say the least lol

Not once did you mention his health issues. Honestly hes only being mentioned or considered because of that. If this dude was healthy, we dont hear his name. His health is the reason we hear his name. Theres no secret media hidden agenda.

Sorry, it was stupid, I’ll own that lol

Trying to make believe that they really dont want Miller. Its not working.
Posted on 6/20/23 at 1:57 pm to Pels_Yaz
This is like the James Wiseman debacle for Golden State. Set an unreasonably high standard for the pick. Then They're going to end up picking a player they don't love for the purpose of value. And will end up trading him when his value drops several years down the line because of fit issues.
Posted on 6/20/23 at 1:58 pm to supe12sta12z
Yup. Although I do feel Miller is better than Wiseman but Hornets will regret picking Miller over Scoot, Thompson twins.

That's the thing: it's really an ideal pairing. Zion and Dame would perfectly space the floor for each other, preventing double teams.

They get Jaylen Green for dropping down two spots.
Green is not a good player. So why would the Hornets do that.
Posted on 6/20/23 at 2:42 pm to ThanosIsADemocrat
Green is pretty good. Granted hes on a bad houston team but dude is a 3 level scorer.

He’s talented but not good. He is also a terrible and I mean terrible fit with LaMelo.
Posted on 6/20/23 at 2:45 pm to ThanosIsADemocrat
Why? Lamelo is a passer first and green is a scorer. I think Green on a team with better culture would be pretty good. Now their defense would suck but offensively they would be tough to defend.

The Athletic just put out a tweet saying its unlikely that Zion will be traded and even more unlikely that Ingram will be traded. Whatever that means.
