Yes sir! Live here. I’ll be sitting somewhere higher up probably bc I’m bringing my kids and the are young and tickets aren’t going cheap this time around
When they put me on the Jumbotron I will listen for your faint cheers as I bathe in their boos, lol.

Y’all need to chill tf out.
Nothing wrong with being frustrated with B.I.'s injury but not to the point of being out on him. He was a monster for us last year. Top 15 players don't grow on trees. And when he's right we're contenders, and there's no path to us being contenders THIS YEAR that excludes him.

Was he?
He missed like 30 games last year.
He’s not with us very often.

Is he ever going to play basketball again?

I love BI and will never turn on him but the last two injuries (concussion and toe bruise) have kept him out WAYYYYY longer than any other athlete in any sport. Pretty fricking frustrating.

Sounds like something that was said on this board for most of the 2010's.

I really hope next week's homestand is it
Next week is a 4-game week... but 3 are home
Hopefully his return is no later than tge Washington game at the end of it after 2 non-game days
ETA: and when's our 1st update on Zion coming? It has to have been 3 weeks since he suffered the injury by now right?

damn... I just looked at the schedule... it's only been 2 weeks since he got hurt... longest 2 weeks in franchise history seemingly
Should get our 1st report on a timeline for him in a week

Not time to panic but we're 1-2 weeks away from no BI/Zion from potentially being time to panic.

Feels like two weeks ago we were the #1 team in the West. Now we're six games back from Denver and five and a half from Memphis.
Luckily for us, while we're 3-7 in our last 10, Dallas is just 4-6 and Utah is 5-5.

You could probably argue this about every upcoming stretch, but I do think the stretch that probably has already started up until we get 1 or both of our guys back will be the most important stretch of the season.
We're not handling it well at all, not that it's terribly surprising but we're losing at a pretty alarming rate.
If we don't get 1 guy back for 2 or more weeks, and we keep playing the same, it may be too late by the time both guys return. We'll be flirting with .500 unless we start playing better or get a guy back. By that time, it may just be too late to do any real contending.
This is a title contending team when healthy, and that's how the season should be judged. Doesn't mean anything less than a title is failure, but we need to contend in a legit manner for this to be a success.

Naji and crew have done AN ADMIRABLE JOB filling in for BI and Zion but they are clearing running out of gas. I understand BI wants to be 100% but it’s pretty clear Larry, JV, and Jose are not but are going out there most nights.

Since the BI news has come out about players and staff being frustrated with him, I've noticed that the broadcast the last 2 games had made it a point to highlight Jval specifically saying he plays through injuries and not when 100%.
Maybe it's a coincidence. But AD kinda did the same sorta thing arguably going at Zion very vaguely last season too on broadcasts. The timing of both can't be ignored.

JV is only good against bad teams but that dude is always available and ill never dog him for that.
Zion cares about winning I know this. He's shown it and stated it.
BI on the other hand????? IDK.

I’m willing to give Zion some slack bc it’s clearly a hamstring issue and I understand how important the hamstring is to someone as explosive as Zion. Plus a few weeks for a hamstring is pretty reasonable.
BI on the other hand seems to be slow playing the return especially since it’s seems clear that he is medically cleared to return.

I disagree here. He definitely can be exploited defensively at times but he still provides a lot of rebounding and he can put up 20 any given night even against top big defenders.

Means he will be back by the playoffs
