As many years as needed. As fan you should always hope for better days, otherwise it's pointless to be a fan.

And Dumars have been here for few months, so he can't fix all the mistakes from Griffin eith a magic wand.
Our picks looks very promising, Willie is gone, let's see how he will manage Zion situation and who will be the coach next year before claiming that he is destroying the franchise.
If he brings back some picks for Zion, Pool, Dejonte, Herb we will be definitely have something to hope for.

The protection of the pick went away once it was traded back to the Pacers. The pick is no longer protected.

Quick question. Did not literally almost EVERYONE on this board predict he'd be a terrible fricking hire and would grind the entire organization into shite?

None of this is a shock. Joe Dumars doesn't know what he's doing, which everyone knew he didn't. Now he's running your basketball team into the ground - exactly like you knew he would.

Dumars was tasked with rebuilding a franchise already ravaged. If he has success, it ain’t gonna be overnight especially while we had Zion, Murray, and Poole on the bench amidst the firing of a head coach everyone wants gone.

Don’t get to comfortable. He might trade them. Bring his buddy Isiah to be head coach.

Pick is not top 4 protected. It’s the pacers now.

Just sayin. Let's keep this kind of info in mind when discussing how much Joe Dumars sucks.

was it a horrible trade? YES
it's still way too early to know if Fears will pan out and if Queen (because of that trade) will work

The early returns on Queen are good so far, he's had his moments.
Fears is also playing pretty good and has looked way better then the Jordan Hawkins pick

You had quite a few posters on here defending the moves before the season began. And said this was easily a playoff roster.

Man, now YOU are taking credit for being in the 90% of everyone who knew this

What you're ranting about was a small minority.

Leave him on a deserted island long enough eventually he will request a trade. See Chris Paul, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis.
