If our opening day lineup of

Zion
Poole
Trey
Herb
Missi

Is on the court healthy for the first 25 games we'll be off to a much much better start than last year.

That would be amazing. I just doubt it in today's NBA. There are going to be injuries.

We are just so much deeper this year. Plus now our depth has upside. God bless Boston, Green, and JRE, but they shouldn't be starting NBA games. Now our depth has potential in the future.

I don't think we'll be great the first 25, 40, or 50 games. I'm sure we'll be sub. 500. But those last 30+ games, I think we go off on a major run. Especially when 1/3 of teams start to tank and are shutting it down..

All of this, I mean all of it is based around us losing Ingram..

Think about it. That's the only major difference from this year to last. So we are supposed to be worse because we lost a guy, that didn't want to be here, and only played 18 games.

If that's the hill you want to stand on, then go ahead. I just don't see it as a loss. Not at all. I think we are better without him. Way better.

Has that ever happened in the last 10 seasons?

The sad part is that even if we’re 10-15 games better than we were last year it’s still a disaster of a season.

We need, at minimum, a 20-win improvement to be in play-in range. Probably more.

That would rank us in the top 25-30 of single season improvements in the history of the league.

It’s a big ask for a team who will be relying on a lot of unproven pieces.

I guess to clarify healthy to me means no multi game injuries (5 plus) in that 25 game span. Fully expect that group to miss a few games in the beginning.

We don't even know the schedule yet and we are discussing starting line up?

Of course that's a better lineup than BI and 4 absolute scrubs. I'm not sure it's a useful barometer, though. If we're mostly healthy and still worse than that, woof.

Nah. Yaz was never as constantly negative as geaudilox. Ghost of Bristow guy seems more like Yaz. At least actually has an interest in the Pels. Geaudilox is just a miserable person.

No real playmaker.
Even Caruso would be cool to get.

Brandon Boston who is looking like he's going overseas.

that's crazy... i thought he was really coming into his own down the stretch and would have loved to have kept him around...

personally, i'd rather him over Hawkins, but that's just my opinion
