Any guess who the Pels 5th best 3pt shooter is?

Interesting post from Matt Isa at FS...
"3-Point Efficiency Percentile for all Pelicans players (minimum 20 games played), per @CerebroSports:
McCollum: 96th
Murphy: 89th
Richardson: 77th
Ingram: 74th
Alvarado: 63rd
Marshall: 44th
Jones: 32nd
Daniels: 28th"
***That stat apparently takes into account volume which is why Trey is 2nd behind CJ...but Jose shows up better than I would have guessed.

Does this mean that CJ is in the 96th percentile of all shooters when it comes to 3 point percentage?

It’s probably a combo of volume and percentage
Which is actually noted by Bamapelican
So, Zion’s percentage would probably be 40-50% ile, But his volume/attempts is bottom 1-2% ile
That would probably result in a lower than 50% ile ranking on this if he even has enough attempts to qualify.

Alvarado being 63rd percentile and "top 5" on our team is atrocious.
If someone taking 4 shots a game hitting 34% is good, that tells you that we need to get better.
For comparison sake, Alvarado takes the 3rd most on our team. More 3's than Ingram. By year end, Richardson better shoot and hit more than Alvarado or we're really hurting.

I really wish that Jose wouldn’t have gotten his ribs bashed
Dude was shooting like 39-40% before then. I don’t think he’s ever quite recovered, bc he never really sat out.
CJ and Jose alluded to that during an interview w JJ Redick recently.

I like Jose's form and stroke. I think he can get back to being 40 percent.

We have to remember that of all these players listed, CJ is the only one guarded at the 3 point line most of the time.
Edited to add BI. He is also guarded at the line at least some of the time.
